New GB/HB Users FAQ/A!

Alright, I'm going to be making this "guide" / faq for the same 1000000000000000000000000 questions i get everyday about the same stuff, i'll edit it and make it look pretty and neat in the end. *****Mods***** please do not sticky this thread yet, I am wanting some replies - then when I/we are satisfied w/ the FAQ, we can make a fresh thread and sticky/lock it or something.

A: Go to the GB sub-forum and check the profiles that are within the level range of the skills that you are inquiring about
These profiles can be found in the GB Profiles Subforum

^^ all of the above are correct, but the type that i'm looking for is similar to A4

Ok - so lets start (we can do the order of FAQ's later - i want to get them out here first)

Q: Kick, can I PM you ask you 50 questions about your [xx] thread?
A: No, reply in the thread and I, or another member, will answer the question

Q: I have PM'd Boss/Hawk/Tony/XX a message, why have they not responded?
A: The mods and devs are very busy - if the question can be answered via search, they may have ignored it. But if its valid, >24 hours

Q: I paid with [Paypal, Moneybookers, XX] and I keep getting NOT PAID
A: Paypal is instant if you have money in your acct - if not, it takes time to get from your bank/cc to your paypal. Bossland has to manually verify all Moneybookers transactions for first time customers to GB/HB

Q: I have GB, HB, HB RaF but I want GB lifetime - what can I do?
A: If you would like to upgrade - Make a post in the payments forum and tell Bossland this info:
Subject: Upgrade to GB lifetime
Text: Hello Bossland, I would like to upgrade from [xx] to GB Lifetime - I will be paying via [Paypal, Moneybookers, XX], here is my invoice #
^^ This will take Bossland 1-5 business days to complete. Do NOT spam him

Q: I want a refund!
A: Post in the payments forum and tell Bossland that you want a refund, he will refund your money within 30 days of you purchasing your product
But I suggest you see if there is a solution to any problems if its something that can be fixed

Q: I would like to buy a 2nd [3rd, 4th, etc] GB lifetime, how do I do that?
A: Log into the SHOP, add to cart, pay. Boom, you're done.

Q: I just bought GB/HB - when should I receive my login information or key(s)?
A: There are no keys. Your login information is the same as what you created to buy GB/HB

Q: GB/HB is doing this wrong, I have an error, GB/HB is closing, [xx] is wrong
A: Post that in the correct thread - current GB/HB downloads section

Q: I have posted what I think is wrong, but I am getting flamed because I didn't post a log
A: Well, you should have posted a log - you also need to be thorough - make sure that before posting a log - disable all addons and hb plugins - did this solve the problem? If not, you need to note this in your post

Q: I have posted a new problem with vX.XX of GB/HB in my own thread and I am getting flamed
A: Post ALL problems with GB/HB in their lastest respective downloads threads

A: No! It is never SAFE to bot! But this is as close to "safe" as it gets

A: Tripwire is what detects Warden changes and severs all connections to buddy products

A: Make your own profile & mesh for [xx] BG

A: Check for different CustomClasses for your character(s)

A: Search for "blacklisting" on the forums
A: Quick solution - open badnodes.xml and copy and paste the node that you want to blacklist in there using the format that all the others are using

Q: What professions should I get on my non-farmers?
A: All of them to maximize gold

A: You can use Teamviewer or SocksCap/Your Freedom

Q: I want notifications on whispers via [text/email/etc]
A: Use the forums search function
A: There are various plugins for this, search!

Q: Why doesn't GB/HB have [xx] feature [relogger, questing (hb), etc]?
A: The dev team has many things on their plate, check in the official releases threads for what they plan on doing next!

A: Yes

Q: HB is selling [xx] item or [xx color] item - how do I stop this?
A: Edit the profile.xml and change/add the code in. <Protected Items> section for exact [xx item]

Q: GB is mailing [xx] item [Mining Pick, Mailbox, Skinning Knife, Swiss Army Knife] - how do I stop that?
A: It's in GB's manual - but put it into your backpack (first 16 slots backpack)

Q: I am having trouble running [xx] profile and its going AFK (HB)
A: Make sure you're running in windowed mode
A: It could be your CC or profile.xml - Post a log in the latest HB downloads thread

Q: My name is Kxxxxxxx and I'm having trouble logging into GB/HB & I know my password is correct!
A: Try logging in with a capital K, Kxxxxxxx

Q: My bot is lagging out when I minimize the window!
A: GB/HB is made to run in windowed mode (you can resize to use less resources)

Q: How do I throttle my FPS?
A: /console maxfps xx -- max fps while window is selected
/console maxfpsbk xx -- max fps while window is in background mode

Q: My character is slow to react! (HB)
A: HB requires 25-35+ FPS to run properly for most CC's

Q: How much resources does GB/HB take up?
A: GB takes up 2-5MB ram, HB takes up 5-10MB ram. CPU usage is minimal (after program is loaded)

Q: How can I make WoW take up less resources?
A: Get (a) program(s) that clear up resources (tasks/services/ram) such as cleanmem and gamebooster - Also running at a lower resolution (ie: 800x600) for bots will decrease resources used

Q: GB Lifetime means I can do what?
A: GB Lifetime = 3 logins to buddy products (mix/match GB/HB w/ 3 logins to auth servers)

Q: Why do I keep getting SESSION LIMIT?
A: If you have GB LT + HBx1/RaF ... Log in your GB's first, then your HB's as GB LT takes priority
A: If this isn't the problem: Stop! Go make a sammich. Come back, click login

Q: I have lost / forgotten my password / I can't log in!
A: Reset password at the shop

Q: I am still a Gast on the forums
A: Log in with your shop acct/pw

Q: I cannot download profiles from the forums
A: Log in with your shop acct/pw

A: You must be close to your mesh for it to run - find the coords of all profiles before starting

Q: I'm running GB and my toon just flies into the air and moves around but not doing anything else!
A: In WoW -> Menu -> Interface -> Mouse -> [x] Click-to-Move -> Okay
A: If this doesn't work, post a log w/ detailed information in the most recent GB downloads thread

Q: There was a patch / server restart today, is it safe to bot?
A: View the Tripwire page

Q: But Kick, the Tripwire page looks old!
A: Thats the last time GB/HB was able to be detected

Q: Can I run wow in fullscreen and bot?
A: No, all WoW's must be in windowed mode to bot & nothing else can be full screen

Q: Is it considered rude to post the FAQ link / tell someone to read the FAQ link?
A: No, the FAQ is here for a reason - if people would have looked before asking, they would have found this thread.

Q: I have reported [xx] for posting a senseless post, what happens now?
A: Well if it was the FAQ link, then shame on you. If it wasn't, a mod will get to that person
