-w00ts - Twilight Highlands Mining A GatherBuddy Profile for farming Elementium/ Pyrite ore in Twilight Highlands ----------------------------------------------- This profile only works with the original GatherBuddy. If you are using GB2 then you need the revised profile which can be found here. Profile was made to cover all the mining nodes located in Twilight Highlands excluding the few that are out of place. I did not follow any sort of "mining route". I just followed a route that went through all the area's I have picked up nodes from. I made this because there were no straight mining profiles, at least none that were any good. Tony has a good profile but it also covers herbing, and personally herbing doesnt make enough money for me to spend my 4botting seconds grabbing the node. This profile has not been tested much. Ive ran it for about 6 hours today to grab some bad nodes and I compiled it with some other badnode files for the area. If you run in to any issues, don't bother telling me about it unless you tell me about it in DETAIL. Im sure there will be other badnode locations that need to be added, so please let me know of any you find so I can add them to the file. We profile/plugin/cc creators do not get paid to do what we do. We do it because we enjoy doing it and we like supporting this community. Tested the profile. Its disappointing. Keeps going for underground nodes, has altitude problems (crashes into walls), dies often, and isn't very productive.
I have been testing this for some hours now.. And it works very very nice.. Im getting no errors at all.. I get a lot of ores !! <3 Best profile ever!
Yayy.. Thanks for all the thanks's people. Glad its working out for ya. Updated: Ran it for 7hours last night and looks like I gathered 14 new badnode locations. So updated the badnode file. Well this zone has a lot of bs nodes. I have a lot of them badnoded, and you appear to be the only one having any problems =/. Where are you having the issues at? Ive watched it make a whole lot of laps and never seen it run into any walls. Ive seen it go for underground nodes but I added them to the badnodes.
Almost every time I look at my bot, its crashing against a wall trying to get to an underground node. Eventually, the path is going to be smoother when it badnodes these underground nodes but until then, its an unfinished and faulty profile.
I dont think he is doing anything wrong, as its almost impossible to do something wrong with GB lol. Maybe he just doesnt have the luck the rest of us are having. Ill continue to update the badnode file as I gather more. Ill be running the bot a lot over the next few days.
Well either way, your profile is insanely good. Literally 2-3x more effective than the other ones I've used, so thanks for that.
No problem. Im really glad I made it too. I came back this afternoon from waking up to see my bags almost completely full of ore from just 7 hours. Defintiely 2/3x more than I had been getting from other profiles. The rest are mining/herbing tho, so a lot of your time is wasted flying over herb areas.
It must be difficult to maintain a smartass attitude when you can't even operate - as you've implied - a mindlessly simple piece of software.
Ok enough fellas. Its obvious he just isnt having the same luck as everyone else and he is catching all the badnodes. Hopefully as badnodes are collected and I update the badnode file, it will get better for him.
