      Greed comes at a price..

Since its only a temp suspension I would suggest you to stay low after this.. I don't see there's any way they would remove the "note" on your account, and for all it matters even if they did, you wouldnt know if they REALLY did it..

Can we agree, that they did something 'illegal' here? Consider this as a real life situation, I know this is just a game, but its still bullshit, I paid for game time, and I got banned for not breaking the rules.

Actually, you misunderstood, said "If you give someone else access to your guilds bank they can take anything up to the limit you allow them to take, so if you set no limit they can take everything in the guild bank and walk away if they want". Which means, he thought that you were wondering if anyone could steal from your guild bank, and so proposed a system for you to prevent that. He never said it was allowed, and it probably didn't occur to him that you were asking if it was okay for you to steal from your guild bank. He probably didn't even read through the whole ticket. They rarely do. (Can't speak from personal experience with WoW/Blizzard.

you have the right to appeal, need to make sure that you acted within your rights and that a GM also verified that your position did not break the current rules set out.

although they can ban you for no reason (very rare), so it gives them a choice to act more outside their rules like moral law.

He did break the rules, the GM just never understood that he was asking if it was against the rules.

Get a decent lawyer, let him read over everything and then sue Blizzard.

I'm not sure whether they did anything "illegal" or not, and I don't really think it matters as they can put any verdict on you- and you can't really do anything about it..

Ps. I feel obligated to tell you about karma, don't steal.. ever.. be happy you got only a temp. suspension

Well I started to ignore your posts because you're just a LQ member. Accept my apologies for your douche bag behavior.

I don't know. I believe if you can take stuff, you should be able to get away with it. Whether it's right or not.. Is another matter altogether. I certainly wouldn't steal another players items, but as the GM said, it's all in how you set up your guild bank. Part of being a guild master is juggling the responsibility of setting the rules of your bank, ranks, and recruiting the right people.

OP didn't hack the game or break those rules, so I don't agree. But I see where blizzard is coming from. Should've been more plain about your intent to the GM. :(

Sounds like you did not straight up ask the GM if you could take your entire guilds bank and sell it for your own profit against their permission. If you asked that and he said it was okay, then you would have a point. But it sounds like you just asked them if it's okay to take things out of the guild bank.

sounds like you "tricked" a guild master into giving you access so you could steal it. it doesnt sound like you were a member for ages. the way i see it, you joined with the intention of stealing everything, which is not right.

plus they can ban you for whatever they want, get over it.

Look up at your title bar.. What web site do you think you are on?

If that's the case, i've been innocently perm banned 38 times now. I'm innocent of all charges, i'm a lil angel, honest.

Well, no. He's not using a bot to steal from a guild bank is he?

I'm not saying he's innocent in all cases. In this case, he has not cheated.

      So what's your point?
