Being new to HonorBuddy (but not new to botting) I would like to make my first contribution to the community a useful one.

The purpose of this guide, at present, is to be a COMPLETE guide to get a new buyer from purchase to usefulness within minutes. True all of the necessary information is in the forums, but it's spread out over many guides and an incomplete wiki.

Not quite finished with the Basics section, but when i am I think it will be worthy of being in the guide section.

I have now completed the Basic HB UI section (which has been uploaded and should be seen when clicking on the link on the front page).

Any feedback / additions / things you would have liked to seen in a guide when you started HonorBuddy are much appreciated.

Mount/Drink/Food can 99% of the time be the name of the item also.

Although the ID will make sure that Honorbuddy knows exactly which item to use.

Must log into your WOW account BEFORE opening HB

Should also tell them to be fully logged into their character of choice.

Adding Plugins…

-Download plugin zip file, or through SVN client
-Place into /Honorbuddy/Plugins/ directory (picture include plz)

-If Honorbuddy already started click on "Recompile All", although a restart of Honorbuddy is preferred.
-To be sure it was loaded properly, and to active, checkmark it next to the list in Plugins window (pictures )
-Any other steps & setup will be covered in the respective Plugin's thread.

Adding Custom Classes…

-Download CC zip file, or through SVN client
-Place CC folder into /Honorbuddy/CustomClasses/ directory (pictures)
-Be sure to rename if needed (Fpsware CCs need this)
-Restart of Honorbuddy is required
-Upon pressing Class Config in Honorbuddy it should show a list to choose from (only shows CCs that support your Class, but not necessarily Spec)
-Any other needed steps will be listed on the respective CC's thread.

***When to Restart My Bot

-After adding a new CC you want to use.
-If told to in the Honorbuddy Log Window (Reference Amplify Saved-Settings Log Output)
-After adding a plugin you want to use (Pressing 'Recompile All' may work instead)
-Anytime you feel that something isn't working as intended or described.

General Tips:

1) Be sure to read at least the first page of the thread for the CC/Profile/Plugin/Program you intend to use.
2) Be sure to check and/or adjust Custom Class settings for every character (do not expect it to work perfectly without)

Found a Bug/Error?

If you can determine what is causing it, find the thread on the forums for said CC/Profile/Plugin/Program
Report the issue there
Include a log with the issue attached to the post ( See linked Guides :Where To Find Logs!--> http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbu...-pictures.html :How To Attach Logs!--> http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbu...-log-kick.html :

If all else fails open a new thread in the SUPPORT ISSUES Forum, with log attached as described above.

(if you would be so kind as to provide pictures to relate to above thread. Kickazz expects users to at least learn to do something You can teach them these things in the guide

It's kind of the same thing as going to your site for an SVN... it's a pdf file...

I'll try to upload here, but it's definitely an extra hurdle.

2) How to setup GatherBuddy in just a few short minutes
