[FREE] AntiAFK BotBase

Get this botbase for free from the BuddyStore​

So I threw this together very quickly. I'm on a realm with long queue times these days, and I hate to either press space every now and then or Start HonorBuddy with Enyo and see it cast Battle Shout each 5 minutes ...

So what will it do:

• Once your character is flagged /AFK, it will start a timer and press the key after the timer expires. This takes you out of AFK.
• It does not pulse the combat routine, so this prevents combat behaviours like PreCombatBuff to run.
• You can select your favourite Combat Routine, thus not needed to restart the bot when you decide to use some other bot base (If you use a CC like SitStupid, you have to restart HB, not with this bot base as you can use your favourite CC).

How do we use it?
Start HonorBuddy, select your favourite Combat Routine and select the AntiAFK bot base and press Start! Once you're ready to roll, stop the bot, switch to your preferred bot base and press start again!

Does it have a GUI with settings?
Yes it does, below is a screenshot of the current GUI. The settings are:

• Stopwatch Timer - Static time after how many seconds the logic kicks in (Once you are flagged AFK).
• Timer Variation - Variation on the static time (Stopwatch Timer). This allows you to look more human as it will pick a time between the stopwatch timer, and stopwatch timer + variation.
• Select key to press - The key to press once the timer elapses.

Maybe a dumb question, but why don't you make a plugin instead of a botbase?

 

Cause that would still pulse other things like the combat routine. I want it to ONLY take care of not getting AFK, and it does a good job in that!

Fresh install fixed everything.
And a reboot of my machine, was up for 21 days so had to be done anyway!

I just need this to not to get auto-loggedout by blizz while using my precious PimpMyGuild but it says this;

Why do i need to pick a profile? It doesn't need with Combat Bot, can you change the way it works?

Edit: Also it blocks PimpMyGuild somehow. It searchs for players but doesn't send invitation/whisper. Too bad :/

 

@ Everyone: Pushed a fix for the profile requirements. Update to the latest version!

Update to the latest version, is fixed now. And for PimpMyGuild, enable plugins in the BotBase GUI.

 

I pushed version 1.03 of this botbase:

* Did some code cleanup, renamed some code snippets.
* Increased its flexibility by adding the Variation setting - Using a random time between Stopwatch Timer and Stopwatch Timer + Variation time to get out of AFK.
* Minor GUI edits.

 

If you google for Keypresser 1.3 the 1st link takes you to an utility that do the same thing. Has nothing to do with HB and you just run it in the background. That's what I use since long time Don't need to be AFK anymore, just press stop button .

 

Sure, but this allows you to run plugins without going AFK. Like a guild inviter and such . And its not that much static anymore ... "press after xx seconds".

weird request that doesn't affect most users but can you have it press the selected button on the set schedule *at all times* and not just after it goes AFK? not sure if it's just me but when I start a mass Ink production process from thousands of milled herbs, sometimes when it goes AFK it stops the Ink production after it goes AFK even for a few seconds. I would like the bot to just press *A* turn left every 30 secs so it never goes AFK and it doesn't stop the ink production.

the 3rd party products that just push a button for you literally in windows background works fine but i'd rather keep it simple and within HB.

 

pasterke not sure what i'm doing wrong but i just installed this program to press the left arrow key, then tried the A key both of which turn left in wow.

if works in every program EXCEPT wow. when i open up word, a chat window, AIM, etc, it starts pressing A, but something inside WOW is blocking the input. Are you currently using this and it works?

 

Keypresser is more than 6 years old.
In the meantime, the newer Windows versions and many programs block the old function calls for security issues
and have now new functions for that purpose that replace the older ones.
The same problems are i.e. with getting a window correctly on top of all other windows.
It's no longer as simple as it was years ago. Many things fell victims to security regulations.

IMHO, Keypresser is obsolete now.
Have you tried to start Keypresser as administrator?
If it doesn't work this way, you'd better forget it.

You may alternatively try to use a Macro Recorder, like MacroX - Zeit sparen mit Automatisierung for example.
It needs a little bit of really easy scripting experience, but works fine.
With MacroX you can define global keys or even mouse clicks on certain areas, so keys are not necessarily needed.

 

This can really come in handy with the long ass queues at the moment, I guess ill be able to play early in the morning again when kids are at school. Hope it still works.
