I've been staring at the Honorbuddy for Dummies Guide, and playing with the actual program for three days now, and I can't seem to figure this out. When I'm in-game, running Honorbuddy, how do I stop Honorbuddy without simply logging out of WoW? Whenever I try to tab out of WoW and go over to Honorbuddy to hit the Stop button, it spazzes on me, and gives me that Honorbuddy can't run while WoW is minimized! message and then forces me back into WoW before I get a chance to hit the Stop button. This inevitably continues until my computer gets so confused that it either freezes or I get lucky and manage to jab the button before Honorbuddy forces me back into the game. I don't want to log out, I just want to pause my gathering so I can reposition my toon so the bot won't run off into the middle of a bunch of 90s who are gonna gank me.
The Dummies guide said WoW had to be in Windowed (Fullscreen) mode, as far as I could tell. Is that not true?
From personal experience, I know that running the WoW 32-bit Client in windowed mode works. If you try that and it still doesn't work, then I would go through the steps of re-downloading HonorBuddy. If running it in Windowed does solve your issue, then all you would have to do is Alt+Tab to another window, and it won't stop the program.
if you MUST run in windowed (fullscreen) mode it will work, but its recommended to run it in just plane windowed mode. honorbuddy CANNOT be minimized while the bot is running or it will cause it to have problems as you experienced.
it should be fine, like i said, just keep in mind you cannot minimize wow, and certain games if run fullscreen will also cause the same issue.
