      After I click select in the Configuration window of Hearthbuddy, it starts up but immediately says:

      I am not the best with computers and really do not understand what this means so I would really appreciate some support. I have already ran the BuddyWizard and I still get the exact same error message as before.

      remove:

      - microsoft visual c++ 2005-2015 x86 redistributable

      restart your pc,
      download the installationwizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attach...uddywizard-zip
      run them as administrator.
      after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
      restart

      Sorry but I do not know how to remove versions of microsoft visual, I tried looking it up but couldn't find anything about it. It would be great if you could help me find it.

      Correction: I found out how to remove them but was wondering if you could link me to what I need to download to update Visuals after I have restarted my computer and ran BuddyWizard.

      I have done all the steps up to running windows updates. I really don't know what you mean by everything past that and would really appreciate some insight.

      Edit: Its ok I figured it out. Norton Internet Security was crashing the program and denying access to the internet. 10/8 would uninstall again.
