good question, my first reply would have been dont bot on that account for a whle, however perhaps Blizz can see your botting despite not having it attached as some have suggested?

I have never had anyone tell me I was being reported.

its simple act as if you would if someone accused you and you were not a botter. completely dismiss it as a waste of their time. The only people who would freak out about someone reporting them is someone worried about getting caught. so act as if you do nothing wrong. and if they report you then fine. if they are going to report you then they are going to report you. noting you can do. people get reported all the time who aren't botters. as long as your not a gatherbuddy fanatic and farming all day then i wouldn't worry. If they do report you and blizzard actually does anything you have a much better argument if you didnt freak out on them. Tell them it is their right to do what they wish, if they feel they should report you go ahead, and then when and if blizzard reacts you can tell them about they guy reporting you "for nothing". Blizzard will often turn a perma ban into an 72 hours at least once provided you can come up with a decent non botting reason why you showed up in their radar. the best defense is a good offense. Act as if you do nothing wrong and never bot to the end. even if Blizzard bans you still send the appeal and be pissed they could think you are a botter. Ive had 5 farm accounts banned and bumed down to a 72 hours cause i appealed it and had a plausible reason they even noticed me. That said it really depends on the Gm's opinion when they read your appeal. But in summation Why should you be worried? as far as anyone in WoW is concerned you are not a botter. And that's the argument you should always make. DENY DENY DENY... that and bot on.

Yes, because the act of abusing them, of itself, will get you banned. So they won't look at the botting anymore..... Good plan! really!

Just ignore it, one report wont lead to any flags. Would have to be multiple. By actually responding to the taunt you'll be instigating the person. Better to just ignore and lay low for a while (no public profile botting).

I have been "reported" a few times, best to just ignore them or give them a "what are you on about?".

Think about it, if you saw someone wall hacking or something you wouldn't whisper them saying you would report them, you would just report them. If it was a bot you wouldn't expect them to respond and perhaps they are just checking you out. What I do is turn the bot off and continue doing what the bot was doing manually.

Tell them to fuck off, report them for botting (tell them you are going to)

Then don't bot for a week or two

Tell them they're botting and likewise reported.

tell them to quit harassing you or you'll report them, if you reply it's better because then it seems like your not really botting, but never an Automated reply, just incase there is more dialect that needs to happen/ other people message you as well. I would only reply like this if I were there semi watching bot
