Hey, I havn't use honorbuddy in a few months but I paid for a 1 year subscription on 24.09.2010. Reading through other authentication issue threads hasn't helped at all. I don't have another instance of hb.exe running, I can log into the buddyportal and no other sessions are running. I am using the correct username/password. And have changed them just incase and still having troubles. Have all anti virus disabled, and the newest version of honorbuddy, can't think of anything else! Hopefully it's a small problem with my account or something otherwise any suggestions are welcome D:
Log On - Buddy Auth Portal what happens when u log into there i'd like to see that log, if you successfully log into the link above
* Current Honorbuddy Sessions: 0 * Current Gatherbuddy Sessions: 0 Buddy Sessions: 0/1 i'm assuming this is the log that you were after? D:
there's a log that hb produces - attach that log.txt so that we can see what the bot is attempting to do (sometimes we're lucky enough that it will show us something 'else')
It sounds like an issue with your router or isp - as it uses port 5031 (and the website doesn't) Are you at a School / Gov't location where your ports would be closed? If not, check your router or ISP You can start investigating now ... or wait for Tony
No i'm not, and have been using hb with the same isp and router for over 6 months just not in probably 3-4 weeks, strange. Guess i'll try some more! cheers for helping ;d
not sure what you mean by a full log sorry. Searched for what you mean and only found that is a txt from the logs file that I posted already? That's as far as I can get ;o here's another one D:?
Make sure you have port 5031 opened. (You may need to access your router/modem settings to open it. Sorry, but we can't provide much support on this, just check Port Forwarding Guides Listed by Manufacturer and Model - PortForward.com for more info.) Also; temporarily close down any firewalls you may have running. (Or add exceptions for Honorbuddy in said firewalls.) Let me know if either of the above solves your issue. (If you closed your firewall down, make sure you put it back up!)
