Good luck today bossland, So i'm not a law guy but does this mean that we could see the bot being shut down today completely?

well with maintence today if bossland looses the judge would prevent them with providing a new update which could make the bot unuseable. so it's possible when the servers go live the bot may no longer work or be unsafe to use. but who really knows for sure. its just a waiting game i think. Hopefully we'll get an update on preceedings sometime in the next day or 2.

I thought they could only shut it down in Germany today... Wouldn't update persist everywhere else?

Well from a legal standpoint if the servers are located in in germany the judge would almost certiantly force them to shut them down making it impossible to provide an update. But like I said who really knwos as Im not sure if the servers are all located in germany or elsewhere aswell.

not exactly a law expert here, but it seems obvious that the judge had zero clue about video games. To me this sounds like a small win for blizzard.

My main concern is that if Blizzard wins then any and all forms of botting may come to a sudden stop in the not so distant future, 2014-2015? the poster back on page 13-15 might of been a hater but bossland is about to set new laws in the land of bots, and if they lose the war then everyone relying on bots loses.

win lose /shrug Either way it wont affect me to much. It probably will kill wow (since 1/4 of the population seem to be bots) but with over 7 years playing wow its about time i found a new game!

Got South Carolina. So it's a 1 on 1 in South Carolina? Thought it was in Germany...

      Hm....

EDIT: Google won't give a proper explanation of the meaning.

If it's going to SC, that would mean you lost the current case and your appealing?

So what exactly was the verdict? I don't see any update about it.
