Dread Wastes (Horde)
Quest: The Mariners Revenge (Kill the Squid)

Is there another way to get back on the Harpoon Boat without contacting a GM? If you get disconnected there and want to restart the Quest the phading doesnt work, you dont see the Boat anymore :(

If anyone know how to fix this without contacting a gm, please help. I tryd to quit the Quest and fly to other Zones and Continents and retry, but always the same (relog too).

thank you

brodie,

I didn't realize you weren't updating hte other thread - had some questions over there - However On the past few builds I am having issues with "feast for the senses" - It never actually MAKES the fish cakes, just opens up the cooking window and then honorbuddy throws some exceptions over and over. If I manually create the fish cakes and restart the bot it works fine.

I always clear my honorbuddy cache, and have all the necessary requirements in order to make the fish cakes, cooking is high enough and fishing is high enough (both are maxed)

I can take a log of it tomorrow if you're interested, I just normally am slammed for time and catch it in a hung state, so I fix it and let it move on.

Thanks - Xaq

I think this may have somethign to do with using CTM nav in places where the mesh is questionable, in many cases it's the only way to navigate around some of the pandaria areas. If you are in vale for example, there are some areas near the mogu ruins that are completely unnavigable without using CTM, or runto commands (runto generally uses a straight line)

I do agree there are some instances where the profiles get caught on the fires, or hung up on a cooking pot and it just sits there because when using CTM the bot doesn't know it's stuck until the CTM command is completed, which in this case is never.

I wrote a full golden lotus quest script (just golden lotus) and was able to NEVER use CTM or Runto except in one instance, and it does pretty well, however when swimming for example, there sometimes is just no other way

I guess my point is, the script does an amazing job, and under some circumstances it does get stuck, but there is little or nothing brodie can do about it unfortunately.

Document the areas where it gets stuck, especially if you see it happen more than once (like my bot ALWAYS gets stuck in halfhill behind the cooking counter while trying to walk to the quest givers), see if you can note the coordinates and screen shot it and maybe he can make it take a specific path.

Clicking the Ball and Chain to free Cloud Serpents while doing one of the Shado Pan quests is not working and I don't think that Riding the Storm is included in the list of Daily Quests. I picked it up and then the bot moved on to do the August Celestials quests which I had the bot do first.

Hey Kick!
I just started levelling up my alts, and noticed a couple small problems (MoP profiles are running very very smoothly now):

1. The Final Blow! (Jade Forest)
This is one of the first quests, for the horde at least, in which you have to go up some sort of spire blowing up the barricades.
Well, thing is, you can hit mobs behind the barricade, but you can't loot them, causing the bot to endlessly get stuck trying to loot.

WoWScrnShot_020913_210123.jpg

A possible solution might be reducing the pull distance during that quest.

2. Life (Karasang Wilds)
In this quest you gotta wait by some Tauren while his wide gives birth to a little cow :)
The problem here is that after the cinematic, you have to exit vehicle.

Of course there's no vehicle, but you have to click on the exit vehicle icon to be able to move forward.
There's no exit vehicle line, so the bot gets stuck trying to turn in the quest.

Code:
<PickUp QuestName="Life" QuestId="30131" GiverName="Sunwalker Dezco" GiverId="58113" X="-882.0469" Y="140.8629" Z="13.22003" />
<While Condition="(HasQuest(30131) && (!IsQuestCompleted(30131)))">
<CustomBehavior File="InteractWith" QuestId="30131" MobId="58113" GossipOptions="1" CollectionDistance="500" X="-882.3207" Y="137.7747" Z="13.21995" />
<CustomBehavior File="WaitTimer" WaitTime="2000" GoalText="Waiting for a couple of secs {TimeRemaining}" />
<CustomBehavior File="Misc\RunLua" Lua="StopCinematic()" WaitTime="1000" />
<CustomBehavior File="WaitTimer" WaitTime="2000" GoalText="Waiting for a couple of secs {TimeRemaining}" />
<CustomBehavior File="WaitTimer" QuestId="30131" WaitTime="120000" GoalText="Waiting for a couple of secs {TimeRemaining}" />
</While>
<TurnIn QuestName="Life" QuestId="30131" TurnInName="Sunwalker Dezco" TurnInId="58113" X="-882.0469" Y="140.8629" Z="13.22003" />
Sorry, forgot to take a screenshot for that one, but just inserting an exit vehicle line (dunno if you use a specific behavior or a macro) before turning it in should suffice.

Thanks for your hard work!

I updated this morning, but I did that quest before updating. It was probably an old revision.
I just tried to see if the Quest Bot was working ok (I know you guys had to re-do it from scratch), and since it was working flawlessly I just left it running :).

Dunno. The only toon I leveled was my DK, at launch. I honestly don't remember.
But I'll probably start working on more toons now that Questing is working great, so I'll get back to you on this later.

questing is (for the most part) /afk until the end of townlong:
<CustomBehavior File="UserDialog" QuestId="30968" AllowBotStop="True" SoundCue="Exclamation" SoundCueInterval="1" Text="Kill the Sha of Hatred, don't stand in the bad black cloud!" />

and then a userdialog somewhere in the middle and end of dread wastes ... only 3 userdialogs left to develop behaviors for ... then we'll start adding in more candy / fixing problematic area's that i've been ignoring =)

guys - update ... you can now load Dread wastes at 89, but until I actually fiddle with the code, you may get stuck in a 'flyto' behavior and not actually being able to fly to it;

I suggest that if you do use this profile 'under level' that you monitor it and reload it when u hit 90 - it will automatically go and get flying for u once ur 90

EDIT 2: I take it back, quest still broken:

Compiling quest behavior from 'C:\hb-release\Quest Behaviors\Pompfruit.cs'
Could not create current behavior in quest bot; exception was thrown
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\hb-release\Quest Behaviors\Pompfruit.cs'.

Thanks for improving the Vicejaw fight, however it's still way too botlike in behaviour. Is there any way to improve this? Things needed would be for the bot to run away before he finishes casting the puke and to always maintain a distance of about 15-20 yards. Sometimes the bot will sidestep to some of the dead mobs through Vicejaw, which is just bad.

The fights with the flying serpents that spit lightning are also very bot-like. The bot will try and run away from the ground AoE (this is a good thing) but usually it will run way too far and then end up facing away from the mob. It then takes a few seconds for the combat routine to kick in and turn the character to face the mob, by which time there is more ground AoE and the bot has to move again, etc.

Another quest; Along the Serpent's Spine - The bot will run into the building with the monks in and continuously kill the mantids because they constantly spawn and run in. Consider adding a 'No Combat Move' clause once the quest has finished? Exactly the same situation with the quest Upon the Ramparts moving to Bloodied Skies.
