Battlefield: Barrens Weekly quest grind!

This profile will grind all the necessary items to complete the weekly quest. Please note the following:

-- Battlefield Barrens [Brodie].xml will grind all items needed to 150, then, if you have the quest, will turn in.
-- Individual profiles will grind said item to 500, but will not grind any other. REQUIRES MANUAL PROFILE CHANGING.
-- Due to no prereq support, WILL NOT pick up the weekly, so that it can still grind regardless. HAVING THE WEEKLY IS NOT REQUIRED TO RUN THIS, BUT COMPLETING THE PREREQS IS IN ORDER TO SEE ITEMS.
-- You MUST start this profile in Kalimdor. Contains no Pandaria support for portals, or boats/portals from any other continent.

Please do not report issues of mesh errors. If you are walking into a wall, report it to the Mesh Support page!

This profile is also available on my SVN to any and all that "subscribe".

While it was originally created and tested under beta, it can be used as such. However, I won't support "bot related" issues until stable release. And the mesh issues. If you want to watch it work, it is quite fast (tested for 10 mins, finished oil grind), just move it out of walls as needed until mesh details are updated!

 

Its works but indeed don't leave it unattended. it keeps humping houses and other objects but still beta HB and mesh issue's.

"not afkable" doesn't really describe this properly... in all 4 areas it is constantly stuck and must be moved manually every 20 sec. and its hard to move unless you turn off the bot too. it's honestly easier and faster to just run around with combatbot.

the other issue - which i havent ever seen before - is that it refuses to attack mobs beating on it if its trying to harvest a node... and also refuses to defend itself if its stuck on some wall trying to get to a hotspot. it will literally just die instead of hitting the mobs in those cases.

nice brodie! possible to do a boss farming profile? so camped on my server 24/7 u can show up and wait for someone else to atk before atking and u really cant die unless u go full retard.

 

Well Brodie, i think u have to fix your prologue for this profile
This will NOT farm anything when u don't have done the prequests for that

If u go there with a lvl 90 char that hasn't done the scenarios and the rest of the pre-quest-line, the mobs won't drop any of the items for the 150er quest
Maybe they drop different things like the parts for the 489er items, and the lesser charms and so on but NOT the questitems for the weekly.

Profile does also interact with oil barrels and so on, even if the objects aren't interactable (which is because the prequest line wasn't done)

So u should add that everyone who wanna use it for grinding (which is not recommended atm) fpr the questitems ... must have done the prequest line

 

Currently it's not usable, need to wait for meshes to be updated. Will adding blackspots around buildings help?

 

wtb one that hunts commanders and escorts, but this is a great start.

 

Black spots would probably hurt more than help. Just be patient. Meshes should be up today.

 

Escorts would be good. Would need to look into how, most likely plugin based, for active refresh but I don't see it being very clean. Commanders can be done just like rares, visiting hotspots, however they are def not soloable as anything other than a kiting class, and even then, rough.

It works fine. A bit slow ( using warrior), but still better then nothing =)

 

Would like to request this as a grind profile so you can have multiple toons going in a group at the same time. They all get items from mobs so it would be nice to do this for multiple toons at the same time to help with some of the mobs that have 1mil+ HP.

I can adjust the profile to follow hotspots in order, but setting as a grind profile will remove some functionality.

 

I understand that Questing Order gives more functionality than Grinding profiles do, the reason I ask for this is to me if I have 3-4 bots running the same profile they are competing for materials. But if they are in the same group using PartyBot they all kill the same mobs and can all LOOT the quest items at the same time. So if they are geting enough for the week than we have 3 -4 toons getting everything done at once means its must faster and it looks like people are helping each other rather than botting.

 

As GrindBot, 1 of 4 areas is unreachable. You would need to stop, fly to, complete, fly off. Each item would need its own grind profile if I'm right, and even if not, at least 2 for the wood item and everything else. Since kick and I are still working out mesh issues and CJ and I are working on IW issues, usability of multiple bots simultaneously is not a huge priority.

To my knowledge, will partied chars still share credit? If so, it should still loot mobs even if it doesn't try and kill all the same.
