Shiro PVE Fire Mage CC Hello, I know there is plenty good CC around for Fire Mage such as Attilio's, but since any doesn't feet the actual Fire Mage requirements, I decided to make my own according to what I think the rotation should be (as far as I know). As I'm not a coder, so I decided to use some existing code to write mine. Most of it comes from lathrodectus' "Arcana" CC. The CC is NOT yet finished and still missing some features. I need testers and helpers to improve the code (add settings as they don't save for example). It's for HC 90 raiding mage, the only talent you need to make sure you have is Invocation. It will apply any mage bomb you selected as talent. (Only on target for now)
you can?t wait for a good comb all the time. With T15 2er Bonus (and for HC-Raiding this shoul?d be a must have) you can wait 5-10 Sec for a Trinket Procc and that was that. You have to use it almost on cd. Your Comb between the Alter Time Combs will be low, but the additional 1800 Mastery from T15 2 Bonus is more important. With decent gear (I recommend low haste and mastery > haste) youll have enough crit anyway and with a lot of mastery your ignite will be huge.
I have tried your CC today. But dont quite understand when i have the instant pyro buff it keeps casting fireball till the "heating up" also procs.. Why is that?
This is the Mage rotation in MoP You have to queue the Pyroblast! proc and cast Fireball untill Heating Up procs prior to cast instant Pyro.
That is an advanced way of playing fire mage. If you have pyroblast up and heating up, then you cast a fireball and straight away fire your Pyro proc. 2 spells critting in a row, means 3 pyros in a row (with luck) This is good for chaining ignite and getting good combustions. My question is, does this CC use alter time correctly to chain ignite when alter time and PoM are both on CD? I have been able on occasion (with a lot of luck, I might add) to get 10 Pyros in a row (everything critts). The combustion, as you might imagine is insane with that. Of you course you might be unlucky as hell and just get 2/3 and that's it That is the nature of the fire mage. So RnG!
Hey, this is my mage, and i was wondering what would be the best setup to run this on TOT Normal with him. Example: is 50k Ignite too high for me? should i change it? or maybe change some other stuff for my toon. View attachment 98315 Thanks
Bro your CR is amazing only a few things that would make it better. I would ask for you to do make it in the config where you can edit it when to combustion... and take in mind as for me on the opening burst i like to hit combustion around 150k - 250K depending on my procs and trinks and around 75k after so maybe come up with something for burst with hero or make an option where people can set when they would like to use combustion. so like when it reads hero is up and it knows not to combust till set value then resorts to the default 55k 75k after. it will help peoples DPS alot but so far rotation is on point. Also take in mind alot of people use presence of mind and that pyroblast should be used with it and not fireball so when its doing the alter-time it should cast all pyroblast procs and use the presence of mind on pyroblast and it immediatly hits alter-time again to run threw the procs THEN it should use combustion. Oh one other thing also make it to not use alter time if your running around cause it did that to me on Durumu lolz got raped by the beam. And i tested it with lazy raider works good! Also just noticed i tried to enable AOE and do the cooldowns on boss but after i hit save&close it didnt save it at all?
