How risky is DungeonBuddy please? I'm running 4-5 characters in a group and supervising them on my second monitor about 75% of the time. I'm never AFK. I chat with the 5th player 1-3 times per run and help the bots as needed.

Also, how likely is Blizzard to catch someone running all 5 characters in a 5-man instance (since there will be no witnesses except possibly a GM) please? Thanks.

If you monitor the way you are, by talking to the other person, you will be 99.9% safe, because there is no evidence that you were botting, aside from illegal methods like scanning your computer. Baiscally, no one will suspect a damn thing.

As for 5mans, there will be a time when your toon comes out of the dungeon to sell/mail.
Sometimes I have seen my toon get stuck at mailbox and keeps running into the mailbox. Have to be very careful with that because most of the time he will hearthstone and perform this action and players will be nearby. Then the bot proceeds to do the obvious honorbuddy anti stuck jump/move back/move left thing.
Someone in the forums WAS banned for his 5man team using dungeonbuddy. I can't say why exactly that was because he did not give much details about it.

I *HAVE* seen that when they suspect you, the GM will constantly start disconnecting your toons. It happened to me before when I was banned. I didn't know the GM (or their anti cheating bot or whatever) is doing it to me, so I kept relogging and continuing, until the game was crashed and I couldn't log back in because of the dreaded ban.
They did it again recently a few days ago, but this time it wouldn't work on me, because I knew what they were *really* doing so I started to play normally.

So yeah, you can get caught for sure, as has happened to me and others. BUT ONLY after they do some tests on you, like disconnecting you, causing some glitches to see if you are really playing behind your toon, or player reports getting stuck at mailbox etc.

I think the #1 rule like experienced botters on these forums always mention is: IF you bot, you will get banned. Eventually. They are talking from experience.

As for your specific case, if you keep doing what you are doing, *I* think you will be 99.9% safe

Dungeonbuddy is really not safe. I am permanently banned for several times by using it.

      Thanks, Windows, for the above!

Do you mind if I ask how you used it?

      For example:
      1) Were you botting all 5 toons in the same party?
      2) Were you AFK botting?
      3) How many hours/day were you botting?

      Thanks in advance! :)

I agree 100% with Windows. IF you're running all 5 toons together and you're monitoring them, it's just about as safe as you can be. 99.9% safe. If you're running all 5 toons and not monitoring them, it's still probably the safest way to level (other then by hand or using lazyraider/tyrael). One other tip that I do is to to remove any mailing toon. Only loot on bosses, or if you want to loot other things like cloth, etc. then use a loot filter. If you only loot bosses you'll only have to empty the bags every 6+ hrs or so. Then park your toons inside the building where the repair guy is. If they're not mailing anything and they're right next to the repair vendor, they won't get stuck and more then likely the only way you'll get banned is GM intervention. You could also use http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/plugins/leveling/123781-plugin-mountvendor-selling-repairing-mammoth-yak.html if you just want to repair using your mount instead of a vendor.

On a side note to anyone running AutoEquip with DungeonBuddy - has anyone figured out the issue with it trying to equip more then one unique-equipped item? It just spams that it can't be equipped over and over. I looked in the AutoEquip thread and saw several people had the same issue but I never saw any fix for it.

It's better to do scenario's rather than dungeons imo.

I use dungeon buddy sometimes before I go to sleep just to rack up some Justice points, however I honestly don't see a risk either way, unless you are Tanking/Healing , there honestly is no risk, you are never the center of attention and will always be fine, however if you were to bot Dungeon buddy with tank / healing role, there would be alot bigger risk there. But either way you should be fine, just remember you are put up with random people from random realms, every time.
