      Siege Camp Chest Runner V2.1

      Summer is here and a lot of paid projects to take on, no time for gaming. Will see you guys around when things slow down for me. For now it looks like Malkadore has taken over chest running profiles, suggest you check out his updates.

      This is a very optimized chest running profile to run Abandoned Siege Camp as efficiently as possible.

      Who This Is For:
      Contrary to popular believe, chest farming this area is still viable. Yes, Blizzard thinned out chests overall but they did not nerf drops out of regular chests (demonic vessels are a whole different story). You can easily hit 40+ games per hour with only enough gear to survive two hits from the towers, no DPS required! At that point you should be seeing at least 2 legendaries an hour, on average. Since we run this on T6 it means you have a chance at TORMENT ONLY legendaries. It is a great way to initially gear up.

      Who This Isn't For:
      If you want experience or bounty only legendaries this is not the profile for you. Also, if you can kill Ghom/Kulle on a high enough difficulty at an efficient rate you would be better off farming there.

      Features:
      1. Profile knows all the locations of chests and checks for their presence, only going to them if there.
      2. Turns a couple select stones/corpses that would not slow down the run enroute.
      3. Profile can turn Trinity's OOC movement skill feature on and off at appropriate locations to limit strange behavior.
      4. Profile turns looting on and off at select locations to maximize efficiency and to avoid danger.
      5. Extremely high loot success rate on the chest on the second tier.
      6. Hardcore safe, if you can survive 2 hits from the towers you should be fine. Also, it only happens if your looting. Would recommend only going for gems and legendaries to minimize.
      7. As close to 100% AFKable as it gets.

      Disclaimer:
      To be able to manage movement skills I had to create a custom XML tag for Trinity. Requires you copy it into the Trinity folder. No other profiles use this so you should not have any issues with them. Also, if Trinity or EZUpdater updates anything you will have to copy this tag back in. I have requested a merge into the official build so eventually it may just come with Trinity.

      This is only an extremely simple toggle for the "Out of Combat Movement" option in Trinity. Only used to turn OOC off when it may cause some strange behavior. If a movement skill is not working please direct your suggestions/bug reports towards the Trinity sub-forum. Rrrix is very fast at addressing bugs and adding in requested features.

      Requirements:
      1. Trinity 1.8.28*, which is available here.
      2. DemonBuddy Beta 1.1.1816.403*, which is available here.
      3. Kill Malthael quest in campaign mode.

      *Older versions may work but will not be supported.

      How to use:
      1. Make sure the bot is stopped and DB is closed.
      2. Copy "TrinityOOCToggle.cs" into ../Demonbuddy/Plugins/Trinity/XmlTags/ and override if prompted.
      3. Copy "Chest Runner V2_1.xml" into ../Demonbuddy/Profiles/
      4. Start up the bot and change Trinity's and DB's settings using the recommendations below.
      5. Make sure you have kill Malthael quest in campaign mode.
      6. Start up the bot.

      Optional - Check FAQ on how to decrease looting failure for the chest on tier two.

      Recommended Trinity Settings:
      Combat -> Misc: Uncheck "Use Movement Spells Out of Combat".
      Objects: Have "Open Chests" UNCHECKED* and select "Skip Destructibles Unless Stuck".
      Items->Pickup: Set "Potion Cap" to 0, bot will still pickup legendary potions! Move the "Minimum Gold Pile" slider to maximum.**

      *Check FAQ for additional information.
      **Check FAQ if you need a way to disable gold.

      Recommended DB Settings:
      These can revert back to defaults when you exit the program. Always check before starting the bot.
      Set "Game Wait Time" to a lower number. I use 3-6.
      Change game difficulty to Torment6.

      Pro Tips:
      • Put on movement skills and passives.
      • Limit pickups to legendaries and gems.
      • Utilize second life and defensive passives.
      • Maximize gold find, movement speed, resource reduction, and cooldown reduction in Paragon.
      • Use gold find, pickup radius, resource reduction, and cooldown reduction gear.
      • If picking up mats/gems keep a stack on your toon and make the spots protected, will stop the bot from stashing small amounts. On DB's main page under Settings->Bot->"Edit Protected Bag Slots".

      Gear Suggestions:
      • Magic find does not apply to chests. Check here for the official game guide's line on this.
      • Goldskin-Extra gold never hurt.
      • Warzechian Armguards-Speed when you destroy objects. Use an AOE spell or Fire Walkers to proc.
      • Homing Pads-Not required but wouldn't hurt. If you have them use them.

      Class Specific Suggestions:
      Witch Doctor:
      • Horrify w/ Stalker Rune
      • Spirit Walk w/ Jaunt Rune
      • Hex w/ Angry Chicken Rune*
      • Tribal Rites Passive
      • Spirit Vessel Passive
      • Remove all pets from the skill bar. Trinity can cast at the worst time, interrupting other actions.
      • Use Shukranis Triumph for speed or Thing of the Deep for gold.
        *Limited support in toggle file.
      Wizard:
      • Ice Armor w/ Frozen Storm Rune
      • Teleport w/ Wormhole Rune
      • Diamond Skin w/ Sleek Shell Rune*
      • Mirror Image w/ Any Rune**
      • Slow Time w/ Time Shell Rune**
      • Evocation Passive
      • Illusionist Passive
      • Use Gesture of Orpheus wand and the Oculus source.
        *Officially added into Trinity 1.8.28 and has been removed from toggle.
        **Helps proc Illusionist passive. Remove from skill bar if you are using Warzechian Armguards. Experiment with and without these skills as depending on your specific setup you may see better results without them. Limited support in toggle.
      Crusader:
      • Make sure OOC is off in Trinity.
      • Make sure Steed Charge OOC is off in Trinity. Found in Trinity's settings Combat->Crusader.
      • Steed Charge w/ Endurance Rune*
      • Laws of Hope w/ Wings of Angels Rune*
      • Akarat's Champion w/ Hasteful Rune*
      • Remove Heavenly Strength Passive
      • Lord Commander Passive
      • Long Arm of the Law Passive
        *Either not working or not supported in Trinity. Should see some bursts at select areas with new toggle.
      Barbarian:
      • Leave OOC on in Trinity.
      Demon Hunter:
      • Change Trinity's settings in Combat->Demon Hunter.
      • Make sure to select "Spam Smoke Screen", "Preparation Out of Combat", and "Anywhere" for "When to Use Vault".

      V2.1
      • Added in a couple corpses.
      • Reduced slow down areas.
      • Removed dance around tier two chest. Looting issues have been solved another way, see FAQ.
      V2.0A/B - Reverted
      • They were simple hotfixes that have been addressed by the latest version of Trinity.
      V2.0 - Original
      For older versions see other post.

      Known Issues:
      -Chest on second tier is occasionally skipped if your moving too fast. May have to turn OOC off a bit further back.
      -WOTB Barbs are physically too large to fit behind the chest on second tier. A debuff needs to be added.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      Why do we have to turn off chest opening in Trinity? Why does it occasionally skip a chest?

      The way that chest opening is handled in Trinity involves waiting for an event completion from the game when opening and a target refresh cycle until it is done, why you see it do this awkward dance occasionally if you leave it on. Since we only have a couple select targets we can bypass this and simply tell the bot where the object should be and utilize a much simpler function called TrinityInteract. This function simply hits the object once and does not wait for an event completion call back. With lots of testing, Username? and myself have come to the conclusion that adding a very small wait before triggering TrinityInteract yields a very high success rate without the slow down introduced by letting Trinity do it. As an additional note, selecting or unselecting rare chests has absolutely no affect on this profile. There are no rare chests in this zone.

      If you don't see it attempt to move to a chest that is behavior I need to hear about. Usually happens when your movement speed is very high. I am always tweaking check-in points to have the best of both worlds, speed and accuracy.

      You can save a couple seconds each run by using this feature to skip going to town and just quit instantly. Why don't you add it?

      I will not support something that has a very HIGH chance of getting you BANNED. It is easy enough to add in but if you want to use it you need to do the research yourself and understand the risks you are taking. I would feel bad if I handed you a BAN on a silver platter.

      Someone else put it in much better words then myself:

      You need to register and have one post to see spoilers!
      I have run this for (select time frame below 10 hours) and am only seeing <1 LPH. Did they nerf it?

      Short of seeing nothing drop out of those chests or not seeing them there anymore Blizzard did not nerf this area. You are just experiencing some bad luck with RNG, just like any other way of playing. I personally have rarely gone below 2 LPH, normally around 2-2.5 on 10 hour runs. Yes some will see less and some will see more, this is ALWAYS the case with RNG.

      My bot is still having trouble looting the second chest. Is there anything I can do to help it?

      This patch comes from BlAchPT. Massive props go to him for solving the tier two chest issue in a very elegant fashion. For those running Trinity 1.8.28 you can simply download HandleTarget.cs file and replace the default one in Trinity -> Combat.

      These are the changes made for ones that want to learn more or want to apply the patch to other versions of Trinity. Search for "iInteractAttempts = HandleItemInRange();" in that file. Replace it with the code in the block on the bottom. Second search for "GObjectType.Item" and look for a case that has "TargetRangeRequired". Change the value to equal 10f.

      What these changes do is only allow the bot to move to a certain distance from the item, 10f. Then it utilizes a simple click on the area where the item dropped so D3's navigation can get you there, instead of Trinity which can get stuck. Finally, if it's within 2f and a simple click on the area didn't pick up the item Trinity will then attempt to interact again.

      Code:
      if (Player.Position.Distance(CurrentTarget.Position) > 2f)
      {
          if (!isMoving || DateTime.UtcNow.Subtract(PlayerMover.TimeLastUsedPlayerMover).TotalMilliseconds > 500)
          {
              ZetaDia.Me.Movement.MoveActor(CurrentTarget.Position);
              PlayerMover.TimeLastUsedPlayerMover = DateTime.UtcNow;
          }
      }
      else
      {
          iInteractAttempts = HandleItemInRange();
      }
      Why does this profile just keep restarting games without doing anything?

      Most likely you are a Crusader using Steed Charge. There is something off with that class if you leave Steed Charge OOC on in Trinity, it tries to cast in town and then fails when it tries to quick teleport. My profile is not the only one affected. A simple workaround is to disable it via the combat settings page for that class in Trinity. The toggle that comes with this profile has it patched in to use Steed Charge at select points.

      If you are NOT a Crusader using Steed Charge and have this issue post up and we will see if it can be resolved.

      How do I stop the bot from going back for any gold pile?

      Stop the bot and close DB. Then find and open "ConfigPickup.xaml" in the folder Trinity/UI/Items/ and search for "Minimum Gold Pile". Change the values for Maximum to something really high, say add another 0 and make it 40000. Now open Trinity's settings go to Items->Pickup and slide "Minimum Gold Pile" all the way to the right. Save settings and enjoy the time savings of not back tracking for gold.

      I want to run this on hardcore. What is the safest way?

      First limit pickups to legendaries and gems like suggested in my first post. Second follow the gold pile suggestion above. Third use the bubble shoulders, helps a lot around the last two chests. Finally, I will quote a fellow botter for the ultimate hardcore suggestion:

      My bot seems to back track a lot. Am I doing something wrong?

      The bot ONLY goes back if there is something it should be picking up. This is done on purpose to increase efficiency. The pickup range is set so high that it can "see" things more then a screen away. If you don't want it to backtrack as much limit what you selected for it to pickup in Trinity. Also, follow the gold suggestion in the FAQ.

      This profile lags my computer a lot and I drop in ticks per second, especially when OOC is turned on. Is there something wrong?

      Consider lowering resolution settings in D3 itself. It sounds like your computer can't keep up with all the demands that the game and bot put on it. The reason why you might see a screen stutter when OOC is on is because all of a sudden your bot triggers it's available movement speed spells and is moving a lot faster. This means more objects for DB/Trinity to process.

      I want to send a donation. Where should I send it?

      I'm not doing this for the money. Having a lot of fun learning the code and behind the scenes involved. If you want to really support this community donate to rrrix. The amount of work he has put into Trinity is simply amazing.

      What can I do to help improve this profile?

      1. Support my tiered out of combat movement suggestion in the Trinity sub-forum by posting your out of combat movement suggestions in this post, use the format I created.
      2. Report any odd behaviors not noted in known issues or the FAQ. Please provide as many details as possible so we can try and recreate the situation. What class, skills, items, versions of Trinity/DB, etc.
      3. Check this post and see if you can help.
      4. Post up your run stats so we can get a better idea of the effectiveness of this profile. Can be found in the TrinityLogs/BTag#0000/ folder. Please provide as many details, especially if you decide to use the quick disconnect.

      I am relatively new to D3 and ROS and I never know what the past chest runs were like, so I am wanting to make sure I am doing this correctly:
      T6 and the bot starts the game then TP's to The Abandoned Siege Camp then open 3ish chests then TP's out and starts again.
      Is it working correctly?

      Anywhere from 1 to 4 chests per run. Yes this is exactly what it is suppose to do. :)

      Other profiles for rifts/bounties are improving everyday but there are a lot of variables involved so they will be a while before they can pass simple repeat profiles such as this or Ghom/Kulle in experience/legendaries/gold per hour.

      Hey Cap, thumbs up for a great profile but should you add the 2 armor racks on top of the hill/sledge, 1 in the bottom and 1 in the middle? I've gotten countless leges from these.. Mayby keep that profile separated? All and chest only profiles would be nice :p

      Great, up and running, may I suggest the ferret companion for demon hunters as it gives increased movement speed and picks up gold for you!

      Hey just updated to 2.1 and it's great, but I am having a problem on my wizard. Before 2.1 it wasn't using teleport, now at 2.1 IT IS using teleport, but not diamondskin sleek skin rune. And It also doesn't use teleport all of the time. Other than that working flawlessly!

      Update to Trinity 1.8.27. It was hacked in my toggle and I removed it when rrrix officially added Sleek Skin support into Trinity.

      Thanks for new version, as for a little improvement for crusader, just download everything is needed at 1st page. Remove steed charge from your skill bar, put in, Akarat Champion with hasteful rune. start the bot, then use a coin or something to stuck it at Akarat champion skill, will be faster from 1 - 2 chest, can actually speed up alot in terms that.

      It wont activate the skill in town, once game start, it will tp to the map, from there, akarat champion will activate and u will be running from 1 - 3 chest if its not picking any rare or gem or gold, with 55% movement speed. which is also same as barb!

      Thanks bro, I appreciate it. I've updated to beta demonbuddy and newest Trinity, however it's still not using diamond skin. I know your thread says post in the trinity thread about those issues, but I wanted to let you know as well. Thanks for the great script!

      If your not seeing it yet you will shortly. I am running the Trinity's .28 developer build and can confirm that diamond skin works flawlessly.

      Alright awesome, thanks for the update.

      Great runner, been running on and off (just updated to 2.1, and was trying diff settings to increase games/hour) and I've gotten a ton of legendaries not consistently running it, can't wait to see what I've got when I get home from work!

      tried .27 version last 4 hours (saw in last thread) and now my wizzard uses both teleport and diamonskin. too bad i have such bad luck in last day (4.5hours session with 0.9lph 60gph and earlier a 6 hours session with 1.5lpg 52gph). now i'm looking at it, i'm afraid it uses so fast teleport (wormhole) and maybe there's a chance he misses some loot?

      Check the dropped vs pickup log. Should tell you right there.

      There are still situations where it can run into trouble around the second tier chest. I am updating the FAQ with a suggestion to help minimize it further. Rrrix lowered the value I suggested but he didn't use a value as low as I have been using. Seems to yield better results.

      Ok, I have found the real cause for my low LPH last night.

      The 2nd chest is bugged. If an item drops behind the chest and my toon tries to come and loot it from the center the chest keeps blocking it untill it blacklists the item on ground and skips it and heads on to a new chest.

      And my diamond skin is not being autocasted at .27 :(
