I came back from a 6 month break and started to bot unregular for a few hours. Got hit for the first time, but I gladly managed to change the perm into a 72h suspension by an appeal ticket.
Simply, I just emphasised that I'm a honest, reliable and long-time Player that got wrongfully banned. I'm still wondering about the fact, that I just botted 3-4 days (ingame) in total and got hit immediately. The account was frozen for about 6 months and the years before, I never got any suspensions.
i think (maybe wrong) that using public profiles get you banned. i think blizzard surf around those forums and save those public profile into the server ,they then check the coordinates of all players who spend long times farming. if i am blizzard i would do that.
this is my thoughts as well. That, or vigilante players that have observed the paths of some botters and camp a common spot, reporting everyone they see follow the same route. I'm making all my own profiles for WoD, and going to actively monitor the public profiles and change mine to stay different. HB is way more popular than it used to be so bots are flocking.
same thing happened to me infact i wasnt banned for months until i opened those old ass accounts with the 7 day free trial link
