It would be nice if your Chocobo companion could change its stance, say to healer at a certain HP% and then back to Free stance or what ever you wish.

Testing this now... Can I just say that the UI is beautiful? I realize UI is such a small thing, but it's neat you took the time to make it aesthetically appealing.

Will run some raids on SMN. This is definitely donation worthy. Just please don't abandon it like others have! (Everyone, please donate if you can... best way to show your appreciation and to keep devs interested in working.)

I've been using this with ex assist, and can't really see any technical issues. Once you get to working on some options, it will be even better.

No need to apologize for anything! I've done a lot of work on the framework for this CR, so even though I'm not actively playing FF14 right now, I still want to see this CR succeed!

The problem with that is that the RebornBuddy API doesn't have a way of telling what you have spent your points on for your Chocobo. So we don't have a good way to tell if you actually can have your Chocobo go into Heal Stance or Fighter Stance or not. This would cause issues for someone who doesn't have a healing chocobo because it would spam that stance once the player dropped below "X" HP% and would most likely die. Right now, the Stance that you set for the Chocobo only gets set when you actually summon your chocobo. There's nothing stopping you from manually changing the Chocobo stance.

Credit for the UI should mainly go to Exmortem. He spent HOURS getting the Custom Tab stuff looking/working right before it got ported over to this CR. The UI really does look nice though doesn't it!

Can you post a log? I used to pull pretty good DPS w/ Summoner in MoreDots and I'm pretty sure Endus ported that Rotation over to this CR.

One thing i noticed with the smn profile, is it tends to use swiftcast on dots other than shadow flare, which is a waste.

I have noticed a few things:

Under summoner I cannto select hawk's eye or quelling strikes

I am also unable to set it so I don't heal myself (this casues me to dump too much mana in long fights)

For SMN it would also be nice, if possible, to only summon pet when swiftcast is available. In most cases I simply dont have the luxury to slowly cast my pet and bring it out (speaking of boss encounters of course)

Man I'm stuffed lol. I'm back early and dove right back into it. I've uploaded a new version that should address everything mentioned below and more. Check it out!

Alright, movement logic has been added to all the relevant spells I could find. Let me know if you notice any spells still trying to spam while moving around.

I worked on the form for over 2 weeks (hours every day, no joke). Now, maybe someone more talented could do it faster but I did put a lot of hard work into it lol (Exmortem helped a ton with the tab design as well). The images are the best I could do with my limited Photoshop experience, I may have to have someone upgrade those in the future. Thanks for noticing. :)

If it's spamming heals that means whatever you're fighting was probably going to kill you if you weren't spamming heals. I did however make a change to force the CR to squeeze in some DPS spells in-between heals (which should hopefully prevent any healing loops and help you kill whatever you're fighting before it kills you lol). When I add more options soon I'll make sure to put in a toggle to turn off healing if desired.

Also, to do max DPS as Summoner you're supposed to use Ruin II before every off-GCD spell. So if it's casting Ruin II and then Fester, Swiftcast, Rouse, Spur, Enkindle, etc. then it's normal (Summoner does burn through MP like no other, but that's what Aetherflow and Bards are for :) lol). Let me know how the new version works for you.

Good to hear it wasn't my fault lol. However, thanks to you I did take a thorough look through the WHM profile and found a logic error with Fluid Aura. So thanks for that lol. Hope you can get your lag sorted out.

Thanks for reminding me. Shadow Flare was still using legacy (old) code to combo Swiftcast and Shadow Flare together. I've updated the CR with the new code so hopefully that shouldn't happen anymore. Let me know how it works for you. :)

Right now I have the Cross-Class skills that I don't have logic for disabled (you can't check or uncheck them). Hopefully soon I'll be able to get the logic in for all the spells listed on the form.

As for the option to turn off healing, I'm going to try to get that in very soon (in the next few days). So "please look forward to it" lol.

As far as I know it's a massive DPS loss to not summon your pet again right away. I've added logic to prevent it from spamming summon while you're moving around (so it will now cast all your instant spells and Ruin II as you move), but as soon as you stand still again it'll attempt to get the pet back out ASAP (because like I said, you're losing a lot of DPS otherwise).

The swiftcast bug seems to have been solved, but i have noticed when it attempts to use ruin 2, if fester is not the next spell it casts after that, it will attempt to do the ruin 2+fester combo until it actually succeeds, resulting in a waste of mp. It pretty much ran out of mp with in a 3 min parse.

It's supposed to do the following combos:

      Ruin II + Aetherflow
Ruin II + Energy Drain (Arcanist/Scholar)
      Ruin II + Enkindle
      Ruin II + Fester
      Ruin II + Rouse
      Ruin II + Spur
      Ruin II + Swiftcast

Are you saying it's casting Ruin II before Ruin/Bio/Bio II/Miasma?

Otherwise it might be working as intended (at least according to all the guides I've read). If I've got it wrong and it's not supposed to be casting Ruin II before some of those spells let me know.

From what i read, ruin II should be used when moving or when using it with the fester combo. With your set up, it seems to run out of mp VERY quickly. At around the 3 min mark.
EDIT: if it helps, i found
      Code:
       '6. Ruin vs Ruin II

Ruin II is more mana. You don't want your BRD playing songs for no reason - especially mana song for a SMN of all things. Short of T8 and Ramuh Extreme, I have yet to need Ballad for myself. When I see SMNs spamming Ruin II, it's a sad day. This is a PSA that Ruin II is only for your off GCD skills [B][I][U]and[/U][/I][/B] when you're moving around.'

^^^ I did notice I burn mana very quickly... I attribute at least some of that to the CR healing self.

Another thing of note... is it possible to have it not attempt to cast anything while moving (except for instant moves? Sustain has screwed me up big time a few times

New version up. I added some more options to the settings form for those wanting more control over healing and some other specific skills.

Let me know if some of the checks don't actually toggle on/off the skills in question. It's a lot of manual data entry and typos happen. :p

This is from the guide you linked to:

That's exactly how I built the Summoner profile. It spams Ruin II before each off-GCD skill (all those listed) and when you're moving around.

Do you have the latest version? I should have fixed that in the 11/29/14 release (should still be fixed in the most recent release). Sustain shouldn't be casting while you're moving anymore (let me know if it still is).

The thing is with ruin II, it uses A LOT of mana compared to ruin. With the way you have it said up, it will be mana starved at around 3 mins into a fight. Which should not happen at all.

EDIT: Also, what exactly is your rotation with monk? With magitek, it did dragon kick > twin snakes> snap punch at flank - bootshine > true strike > demolish at rear and repeat. which seemed to get pretty good dps. I have no idea what yours could be lol.

The MNK rotation should be standard. I have it set to keep everything (buffs/debuffs) up regardless of position though (it respects forms but not position). If you want the potency bonus for being in the correct position you just need to watch the buffs/debuffs and move accordingly. It's a bigger DPS loss to let the buffs/debuffs drop just because the user didn't move to the correct position in time.

      Priority looks like:

Keep Touch of Death and Demolish up.
      Keep Greased Lightning up.
      Keep Twin Snakes up.
      Keep Dragon Kick up.

Of course that isn't a hard order (due to the stances). Basically it's set to keep all those up all the time using whatever skill is relevant at the time.
