This is on a 7$ key right now so im not too worried about it just wanted to time test this profile although it apprently has some serious Outland coordinate issues that need to be worked through. Just letting it run otherwise I wouldn't of let it waste like a hour attempting to track down a single boss target due to coordinates errors. But this Hunter is full BoA gear wise.
i didnt get affected by the bot banwave and wanna bot a warrior up to 90 so would you say it is safe to bot at this point?
Did this back in MoP with Dk's 55- 90 (3 guild looms) 63-65 hours 10.5k - 11.5k gold. I Have been a little scared to use honorbuddy, but i have been using a bot to quest toons, so i can use the RAF free levels to level up toons on my main. 1-85 all heirlooms 55 hours. Im now testing power leveling RAF all heirloom bots with dungeon runs so far level 64 - 7 hours RaF. The only problem with the Raf bots is i have to manually play at least 1 toon. But if I invest 8 hours per toon that will place me in the 68 - 70 range. Then i can skip questing all the way to northrend. then from 70 - 85 it takes roughly 21 hours. So essentially I would save a whole day /played to get to 85. All this just to turn on the free gold machine garrison on a few dozen toons on main account without having to bot main account. I will make sure that every toon I grant level is just about to ding so when its 85 it will be a few bars from 86. Then those last 14 levels all hierlooms and rested the whole way should not take too long manually. ( with xp potion after garrison is up) Also have some ideas for level 90 - 100 that might make it easier.
I always have to randomly check with Kick, or even Brodieman. Because the bot will get stuck. Trying to loot a corpse and immediately cancelling it (if it needs to set fire to it for example) it just spams the loot this incredibly fast, so fast that even autoloot doesn't get a chance.
Kicks needs work in a few area's I simply have the output log monitored and if it keeps trying to go to the same coordinates over 5 times in a row over 1 min it forces HB to stop / start again so that it will start working right again. It has numerious errors where it will run up to a object and attempt to interact with it before its completely stopped causing it to kick back the "Can not perform this action while moving" error then it attempts to do that over and over again in many cases.
Can you further explain on this? Do you use some plugin or external program to do that, or is it the standard behaviour of Hb?
its an external program I created it just reads the txt file and monitors it for the issue. You could prob do it with a plugin too if you wanted. I honestly haven't studied the plugin system very much.
That would be amazing! Would it be possible to identify specific logs, so it could be working when several copies of Hb are running?
each toon has their own log folder so yes its possible(Only have it setup on the running Kicks atm) it reads the last modified one within the specified toon folder by default. Due to restrictions posted here(https://www.thebuddyforum.com/misc.php?do=showrules) it would need to be in plugin form to conform to the forum restrictions as I'd rather not be perma banned for posting an exe lol. Perhaps someone that writes plugins could give him a hand?
that plugin would be amazing for pretty much anyone planning to use kicks and not monitoring the game constantly.
It's been a while since last time I levelled through questing, but if using full BoA's you're aproaching 3 days for 90, we could be talking about over 5 days on a non-BoA char? Just wondering, I don't remember it taking that long. And it could only get much longer without that awesome start-stop program of yours....
Level: 83 2D 3H 49M Level: 84 2D 5H 16M Level: 85 2D 6H 41M Level: 86 2D 9H 0M dont want to know how many reports that gave you. 2.5 hour on a lvl, and 2 hours + Must have been loads of stucks etc. Did you 100 % afk, since when i ran it ( ofc improvements have been made since last time i did ) there where a *** load of stucks, and no way you let it run 3-4 lvls without interaction. So my best guess, enjoy it while it lasts, hope its a new account, not linked. Nice project to see tho, kudo's for it !
if you read the thread he says its 100% afk but he has a script that detects certain errors and restarts the bot when they occur. he got this account for the experiment only.
