Still botting with CR only, no interrupts etc.

The first thing we should be aware of is that not everyone in here is who we say we are. I would be willing to bet Blizz has some 20 or more accounts in this forum. That said you can't believe everything you have read in the papers. Simply put Blizz people would be interested in scaring the forums or simply gathering information and it is why HB is so secretive on what it knows and don't know, if you know what I mean.

What I will say is this, HB has not lied that I can tell as yet. After first hit they said they "believed or had an idea" what they were doing but that obviously proved to be wrong. This time they said they knew what it was and corrected it. That said it's not that we can't get hit again because it will happen but I would be inclined to believe that new bans are old bans or different reason bans than the detection otherwise you can be sure the forums would be filled with bans not just one two bans.

So chill people and just watch the games being played out. I see people I suspect are Blizz players in this forum by how their post go. Or let's put it this way. They are either Blizz people or people who if they are the way they post should just leave.

Blizzard has a vested interest in us believing the game is over that HB has no way of escaping them because if enough people believe that then HB may have to close the bot which will save them a lot in legal fees.

So walk gently but back a big stick.

      Demon out.

People keep being convinced they are not detected, then the banwave rolls around like clockwork 6 months later and they act surprised... you have been botting for 3 days, omg well its fine then ay!

If HB goes 12 months without a banwave I might start believing that they actually made it undetected again. But I'm not expecting that to happen.

Zeewolf....You do understand they can make it undetectable again and then Blizz finds a way to detect it again right? You do know this is possible? Blizz not sitting on their arses and saying "hot damn we need give up now because HB figured out how we found them"....You do know they may work even harder than HB does to catch us right?

You seem to think they fix it and it's good for x time. It just does not work that way. You close the front door Blizz finds a window. Could be a year from now could be a month from now. They will. It's part of the game we play.

They don't have to use a partner app like the launcher to detect something it can all be done with Warden inside of wow. They probably know the method HB uses to inject (write to memory) and simply monitor an address for when it is written to. Warden can then determine if that was called internally from WoW or if it's another program altering the memory. They can also just download the latest bots and do I/O reversing. They can log how the bot behaves and compare it to a human player. Bots have to make a lot of compromises to not take forever to update come patch day. Taking these shortcuts for how the bot moves, fights, and interacts with things can sometimes create an identifiable behavior that only bots will have thus making an easy and swift ban.

You are delusional if you think Blizzard doesn't have HB by the balls right now. HB would probably have to change their bot to be completely memory passive and use something like steering nav instead of click to move in order to be safe again. I wouldn't mind seeing HB bite the dust honestly because there team is arrogant and they treat customers like shit as if we are the nuisance.

Guys the bot is detected. Its pointless to even try it on n new WoW account. The dev can read the ban posts. I am sure if they buy new wow acc and start boting they get ban to. Is it not best to update users and maybe rethinking a new design bot. Instead letting users using the hb now and getting ban. As a user i will glad to wait for something new instead of buying wow acc and get ban in a day. Just my thought

Actually, I think the fix at least make it more safe. I'm running it right now with no problems, just hit lvl 90. One week old acc.

HB had the lead for many years and tripwire protected bot users or blizzard did not care about hb in the game...

But now hb gets detected every 6 months for some reason and tripwire fails

Warden can update at any time when the client is open and connected to the servers and then can bypass tripwire if it can if it was programmed right if not then tripwire may go off as warden was updated and tripwire detected a change in warden so then trip wire locksdown the bot and sends info of the tripwire event

This is my understanding of how bot detection works

It is always the cat chasing the mouse lately the cat has been catching the mouse/rats in the game

I feel like every six months or so Blizzards flips the switch and starts purging botters. Botters will then buy new accounts thus pouring more money for Blizzard. Rinse and repeat.

I don't think tripwires really work. The only time we are all notified is when everyone starts posting that they've been banned or suspended.

The software is public blizz always can reverse engineer it and hook detection there's nothing you can do really.

The only way to be safe is to code the bot yourself or hire a freelance programmer to code something simple for you, it will obviously cost much more than HB, if you find someone willing to do it ofc

But 6 months is still good

Well, they seem to go real hard on gold sellers and economy abusers now. I hope those like me using hb for lvling and camping rares only are well....
