      There is still no certain time for a release. The delay is caused by the security concerns.
      We already have Honorbuddy fully updated for latest patch but we are pretty sure that it can be detected right away in its current state.
      We are working on countermeasures and can not give any ETAs. It might take a few hours or even a week.
      This will probably be the last announcement before a release post as there is not much else to say from this point on.


      hello, for what Raphus updated us in his post, we would have a version of our honorbuddy today, plus for a change, it was just a big, brazen lie, I would very much like to keep my composure and be polite, but I hate lies, which was prompted, if you can not fulfill what was promised, do not promise I will close this soon, because it is the worst customer service I have seen, not to say a big crap, sorry for the irritation plus the combo is not expensive. Thank you, and it is with great regret that I write this post

      People have the right to change timeframes if problems arise in the development of a product. Be patient.

      It sucks to have to wait, but have some faith in the dev team. It will be released when it is safe, there is much trial and error, not to mention the fact that not all bans are instant. You can be "flagged" for a ban, meaning you will be banned in the near future, but Blizzard will try to wait before actually giving the ban. The reason behind this is simple: It makes it harder to know what it is that got you banned, and so that Blizzard can ban more accounts, which in return means more money for them.

      They may already have a safe, secure version for 7.3 ready - however - they have to ensure that they did not just get flagged for a future ban. That's where we're at right now: What is [almost] guaranteed to be safe for us. It's also at HB's expense, seeing as how they have probably had MANY accounts banned, and it's not as if they are still charging us, nor are they going to count the days when the bot went down.

      So yeah, sorry for the wall of text, but just wait a little bit longer. Pressuring the team will not make them release the bot any sooner.

      As they had said, all the code of newly updated wow patch well be read and analyzed to protect the bot not being detected.

      Be confident and keep calm and wait.

      I've been a member for 5 years and counting, I'm not a gold farmer / salesman, I only use the bot for personal gain. That being said i've been banned twice from wow, first time for overusing archy bot and second time from afk farming dungeonbuddy dungeons. I'm 100% sure my bans came from user reported tickets. Besides those two errors i've never had a single infraction alert or warning.

      I'm not going to say this is the best wow bot around because i don't know anything about that.

      But if you listen to the buddy community and actually respect senior user posts, you will come to understand and appreciate the things they try to do for you.

      I normally never post comments or get involved with discussions about the bot but i just felt like this was the right timing to do it for some reason.

      And now the other piece of my mind is the fact you people are fracking up my / our economy, i'm botting for my own pleasure but you people are turning it into your business which is your right, but i don't complain about that because I as well as thousands of others know it's outside of blizzards legal territory, but complaining when the program you did nothing for except pay a small fee is now being hold back for security reasons to protect the very same asses it feeds. (You sirs are hypocrites in their purest form)

      Me for one are also abit frustrated. If they are holding back for security reasons with no eta, why dont they say it also in there purchase page, so before people buy it they are aware the bot is not working atm.

      I am ok atm since i have a free cr working for me in WoW so i can atleast do my dailies and farm abit. :)

      I just wish they would communicate with us more. These statements of "when we have something new we will post it in the update thread" is very weak and if you ask me LAZY on their part. No one is asking them to speed up what they are doing only to come on and post a few words. "Guys just want to let you know we are making progress. We have something being tested at the moment, we will post results shortly. Thank you for your patience on this." How hard is something like that to post?? No ETAs. No revealed info. Just something. All we are getting is deftning silence.

      They have definitely lost me as a continued customer. The canceling of my lifetime membership was the first straw and this is the final one. I wish them nothing but misfortune and hardship ahead.

      I just returned after beeing away for several years, and first i found out about the lifetime sub thing - okai, not "happy" - but i "understand" the change. Then i paid for a sub - just to try it out for a week, and NOTHING in the store told me "the bot is down for the moment - return later when we can provide you the service again" - i had to go to the forum and find it out....

      I work every day with people and communication - I`m not an "expert", but there is several small improvements on how to handle this. One example as people stated, is a small messages like "we have to use some more time on the security issue, and have to delay the release for another week/month". I don`t care about how long this will last, just tell me the me aprox how long it will take from time to time, so i don`t get up high hopes. I don`t need to know or care about details, just aprox how long it will take - days or months. We actually cheer you to take your time with the security - if you dont count the trolls in this.

      I`ve tried pirox, glider, hb, wrobot etc, and to my liking - after prirox went down - I always return to hb - I can`t explain "why" - for me it`s been something I can use now and then for gathering recources for myself and questing now and then. Just keep me "in the loop" from time to time about "eta"s - and I`m a happy customer.... :D

      Sadly the answer to the threads that bring up this valid point keeps getting deleted and the management team is not learning any lessons regarding simple communication.

      I have been very critical to the HB staff before, but now I do not have the same concerns.
      They are waiting to release a stable, safe (as much as possible) product, and refund the time that the bot is down.

      I think it is the most sensible thing to do, just keep on working on it.
      Personally, I am more happy to wait than to jump on a unstable, unsafe product.

      Plus, we all know that releasing an unsafe bot gives out meaningful info to Blizz, and we do not want that.

      Granted, I would like to bot right now, instead of writing this post, but we have to accept botting has its downtimes.
      It is acceptable for us, normal users, but maybe some farmers have a problem with it. I personally don't care about them.

      For me it's not about rushing a release it's just about an update. I am a casual user. The old saying is of "when we have something to say we will post it in the update thread" is wearing thin especially when a week plus goes by and nothing at all is said.

      They know that no matter how long the update takes, 2 months, 3 months a year...when they come back online they will regain all the customer base back. HB is the God of wow bots. None of them compare and they know that. Would be alot better to make sure the product is 99% secure rather than releasing it and getting 1000+ people banned.

      i hate that i did just buy 1 weck try, i have been using Honorbuddy for a very long time and i wanted to try it,
      and now its gona maby take a weck and i payed for somting that was down!

      From a money perspective you need not worry. The key does not start until the bot is back up.

      Better nothing said, than meaningless mumble.
      We know they are testing detection mechanics, and we know that there is no ETA.
      What more would you like to know?
      Lots, I am certain, but this is all the information we would get anyway.

      I would like to know that progress is being made. Normally it is stated that a solutions is being tested with the internal team. Stuff like that. It might seem like meaningless mumble to you but to people who don't have your patience it means the world and it takes like 2 minutes.
