      Hello,

I am leveling my character now in Northrend. And I noticed that the bot keeps questing in zones untill quests are green. For example. My bot was questing in Howling Fjord untill level 73. Instead of going to Grizzly Hills right away, the bot goes to Dragonblight instead. This i srather annoying since my character is full heirloomed and it takes even longer this way. After Dragonblight it will go to Grizzly Hills which is rediculous.

There should be a "smart" option that regonizes your bot is heirloom geared and that it can skip certain zones instead. It would make it less risky to get banned as well since you spend less time botting that way.

Is there already a way to avoid this?

      Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I have also noticed that, and this happens especially in Northrend.. What you can do is try stop the bot and start it again, that might fix the problem but that's a low chance.. What I did was just doing dungeons til lv 85 and do mop quests and if you can try to dungeon up to 90 and do wod quests.

Dungeon>questing if queue time is not very long

My DK (lvl 75 now) would finish Dragonblight, move to Grizzly Hills. Now it starts questing in Grizzly just fine, but now it (even after restart, cache deletion and fresh install) it will fly on mount to Dragonblight and stay flying way above the ocean near the shore and stay there.
I wouldn't recommend dungeoning at lvl 68-73 tho, as Utgarde Keep fucks up if your group doesn't clear all the trash packs in the first room.

Just do specific dungeon, and unselect dungeons that the bot can't handle

it's been a few years since this came up, i.e. post-cata. maybe more.

kick's profiles are designed for new players with no gear to level a character from scratch without manual intervention, ie fully automated. which is why they sometimes fail to handle problems, it's an AfK profile, that sometimes idles/grinds for no reason as well. or runs into quest areas with 30+ mobs in the same area.

for these kind of issues, try cava instead.

it uses smaller profiles for level groups so it can skip ahead to new areas, or grind to make up the difference, sic.

that said, 73-78 is boring as hell once you've completed the first zone. at 78, you could probably start to skip ahead to icecrown and jump right to hyjal when you hit 80. cava's has some gaps in it's questing as well, so it's not perfect, but it's a good starter and alternative if you have heirloom gear (which is much, much easier to obtain now)

I'll give Cava a try. I tried it once when it was just new, but back then I found it complicated to set up. Gonna try it again now. Maybe it's easier.

Its odder. Because it installs QB's, it has to install using a batch file, which downloads and sets up the profiles, quest behaviors and the main folder. but that's all automatic.

and yes, If it was on the HB store, it would work a lot easier and better, but it's not :p which is something to be thankful for in a way.

Thenm you open up HB, it will setup and update inside HB, and close HB. Once it's installed, it should be self-updating properly.

When a major patch hits, cava should be able to self-update, but sometimes you need to SVN update the plugin folder before launching HB so it can work properly.

It fails to pickup quests and stops so often and need manual intervention then restart, so annoying.

The way to fix Kicks, assuming you watch it, is to stop the bot, clear your quest log, go to the zone you WANT to do quests in, pick up all the quests you can, then start the bot again. It does suck that you have to do this, but I don't think there's a way around it currently. At least not for Kicks.

lol i saw someone using the same profile as me.. because the bot got us both stuck in the same position in northrend, where you guy mounts up then flies into this little pond and tries to grab a quest item but it wont grab it, so the bot will keep flying up then back in the water over and over again smh
