      Just wondering if there is any official word on what blizz based the 6month ban on?

      Official? Their e-mails are official. They said "third-party application use."

      You're not going to get any more than that, probably.

      No I mean what specifically did they detect? player pattern, cpu process etc?

      No one knows their detection pattern, and if they did it wouldn't be public information.

      actually that is incorrect-my 6 month suspension email and many others that got banned after the tripwire incident were worded differently

      I stand corrected.

      But the e-mails are as official as you're going to get. Blizzard isn't going to admit to what they caught. Otherwise, bot makers would just be able to find a way around it.
