Hello, Is there option to force HB to only use ground mount with questing botbase ? I couldn't find anything in settings, maybe I can force specific mount with profile ?
i hope it is ok to post my probleme here, because i think it fits to the question from Nieznany. I use THIS profile to farm Sumptuous Fur behind the garrison. a few days ago it worked perfectly, then i got flying for draenor and now it just uses the flying mount and skips many mobs. the bot rarely dismounts to kill some mobs and continues with flying past mobs. if i dismount the mob near mobs it kills them without a problem. i hope my english is not to terrible, my native language is german
I am having this same issue with farming as well. Worked fine until I got flying in Draenor as well. I think I may have a work around, but it seems to mount on my flyer sometimes as well. In HB install folder there are character properties, one property is for flying mount. Basically this property is saved here when you select it from the combo box (pull down menu) for flying mounts. It leaves this option blank when you reload, I noticed I do mount for flying, but seems to use ground mount more. I am not sure why it still chooses to fly, I also put my mount distance to the furthest as well as turned on herbing (since one of my prof is herb). Turning on herbing makes the bot land on the ground to pick it up and occasionally it will just get you back on track. Also I turned off the farm mount mode in settings because I learned that it actually means not to dismount (or something like that).
Will try this and see if that works, thanks rabbit, I also tried to use the tag <UseMount>false</UseMount> but that didn't do anything.
Hey guys if you want it to fly but also kill stuff you can add in PreInteractMountStrategy="Dismount" to certain behaviors. I don't know if the grind one allows it from memory but the interacting one does (which is slower though).
i find most quest based grinding profiles do this. I've had to convert the ones i use regularly to standard grind profiles.
Hi, Boail, The profile is supposedly written to Fly. If you want it to stay on the ground, the Nav="Fly" needs to be switched to Nav="Run", and it should do as you wish. cheers, chinajade
