Hi, When I'm watching a stream on Twitch it runs smooth and looks good. When I'm playing WoW on my laptop at High settings it runs smooth too and looks good. But when I'm using Honorbuddy, watching stream on Twitch and playing WoW it gives me huge lagspikes. If I then pause the Twitch stream I am watching WoW runs smooth again with HB. It only gives me problems when watching Twitch while botting. I'm on a GeForce GTX 960M and i5-4210H @ 2.90 GHz. Can this really be true? (sorry if posted in a wrong section)
Now, I'm no expert, can't give u top-notch advise, but I gotta ask, do you run many programs in the background? Especially virus programs like avast will lead to massive fps drops, so I recomend disabeling it while botting.
Had this issue myself turned out it was an anti-virus issue, the solution was here https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...ow-fps-issues-caused-kapersky-anti-virus.html
Hmm I am only using Windows Defender on Windows 10, so don't know if that gives me the same problem with fps?
hey man, i have this problem too and I have better/similar PC specs. I don't think its HB related. Firefox + twitch give me the same memory usage as WoW in my task manager lol (exaggerated, but its still high memory up-to 1gb sometimes with Firefox). Have you tried another browser for twitch? Can anyone else confirm SLIGHT FPS drop in games with/without dual monitor and watching twitch on the other screen? adding HB ontop of the slight lag, obviously can make it worse. Setting your background FPS to a limit of 40-60 FPS in WoW can be helpful. (some people recommend 15 fps. but my toon cant navigate narrow areas with such low FPS). Like I can watch a movie no problems fullscreen on my second monitor. But as soon as I have a Browser + Flash Plugin active (Streaming Videos, Youtube, Twitch etc). I notice FPS loss in games. I always close my browsers (or minimize them) to ensure I don't lag in games like CS Global Offensive. And with similar specs to yours, I can run 3-4x WoW clients with no issues. So how is an Browser causing so much FPS drop? WTF? I blame firefox, but I also hate Chrome with their browser cock blocking adblock. And I swear to god trying to use another email client in Chrome is like GG. Hotmail / yahoo always takes 30 seconds to load, as though they want me to use gmail :/ Almost feel like using IE...but I also believe Twitch is pretty resource intense for browsers. Chat etc.
It might, you could try putting hb under the exceptions list or setting the process to high priority under task manager.
i just had this proplams my self and i solved this like so: open laptop bios and enable intel speed step, gg wp fps is good do caralho
