Hello everyone I wonder if there is some1 who buy WoW tokens for their bots instead of buying gametime from world of warcraft shop.
im sure theres tons, its easy to farm gold and get what not with your garrison now.. theres botbases for basically everything in this game
I don't understand why people think its dangerous to buy WoW tokens for their botting account. I've bought plenty when the need arises.
What I am curious about is if you have 3 WoW Licenses on the same account, can you keep all three active with tokens? I was under the impression that you can only buy one token per B.Net account per month.
Wouldn't recommend buying tokens for Battle chests - Overall pretty safe on WoD accounts as long you're not doing dumb shiet.
I think most people can agree that blizzard has different filters for different types of accounts. These filters can be but are not excluded to: ore mined / week, dungeons completed / week, BGs / week etc etc...If you hit one of these filters you get an automatic ban. And what are these accounts? Scroll of Ressurection: has the narrowest filter, i.e you cant really bot at all. Maybe bot 3 dungeons per day and you're fine. But if you bot 5 dungeons or you gather ore for 5 hours a day you are screwed. Automatic filter ban. Battlechests: You can survive longer on these accounts than you can on the SOR ones, but still they're quite narrow and blizzard tightened it a lot 8-9 months ago. WoD accounts: Blizzard dsnt really wanna auto-ban real players by mistake, and 99.99% of the real players that will hit a filter by mistake are WoD players, not BC players. Thus the filters are probably even looser. In my opinion is that when you buy a WoW token you move your account one step up in this chain. If you had a WoD account you go to BC level, if you had a BC level you go to SOR. If you had a SOR, well...you wouldnt be able to get those 50k gold in the first place I've bought maybe 20-30 wow tokens, every time I've done it has resulted in a ban the next day on the BC accounts. If you buy them on WoD accounts and bot casually, it's probably safe though. But if you farm for gold like a pro, you're probably better off not buying them.
Funniest shit I've read all day. You get banned for getting reported or botting 24 hours a day. That's it.
Leave the theorycrafting to people that have actually got some experience Or back your claims up with statistics based on your own farm or others'.
I currently have 8 accounts botting; 5 running on a single computer and the rest on another computer. For the most part 5 are running for ~15 hours per day and do mix of the following: Garrison, dailies questing, herb/ore harvesting and dungeons / raids. The other accounts run a similar process except they don't do any dungeon / raid runs and probably spent double the amount of time harvesting. Three of these accounts are scroll of resurrections, 3 are RAF and the others are just standard account. Over the months I've bought countless WoW tokens. Its been ~4-5 months now and not a single account has been banned. To the OP: If you want to buy WoW tokens go for it!
Precisly, with such a diverse task the bots perform and all the accounts are WoD, you are quite safe.
His claim is as valid as yours. Neither has any backup in statistics from anyone. Practice what you preach.
Okay guys here is my theory. First of all The wow token is item that not every1 can afford. Second lets say from 1000 players maybe 40-70 players will buy it. Why not Blizzard hire or give more job to his employes and start checking every single buyer that bough the token. Its easy to check what you doing every single day..
if your sending gold from a different account to buy the tokens then yes it is dangerous...if your doing it on your main and not trading or receiving gold in the mail then you should be fine.
