I'm getting a ton of errors in the Buddy app (I assume, since the text is all red), but when I go into the Logs directory, there is nothing there. I didn't fiddle with any settings. Did I miss something?

      Hi, Ordell,

Never seen anything like you describe. What do the errors say?

Any chance your drive is full, or you're over the TMP file limit?

      cheers,

No way, I have hundreds of free gigs and run Wise Care 365 daily, which cleans out temp files. But it's not going into the Buddy folder.

The errors showed up while running the dailies. So I can't rerun it again until tomorrow. I will screen cap the Buddy window.

      Hi, Ordell,

It disturbs us greatly that no logs are being generated. This seems like a permissions problem, or something else wrong with your installation or system. It is nigh impossible to keep Honorbuddy from producing logs, even in the worst of circumstance (e.g., it still produces logs when "it doesn't launch").

Why don't we try a 'clean install', and see if that will get logs going again:

      cheers,

Well I reinstalled it and thus far, there is very little in C:\Honorbuddy\Logs\. There are directories for characters but maybe one file full of personal information that I'm not about to give out. Nothing with a .log extension, either.

Also, maybe this is a separate issue, but the bot still insists on using a ground mount even when I turn it off in the config. Except instead of using a kodo, it uses the Warlord's Deathwheel, and uses it in the water or to travel 10 feet, which is a dead giveaway to other players that you are botting. When I say no mounts in the config, there should be NO MOUNTS.

Here's a recent error. There is no log file in the LOGS directory.

Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but did you change the install directory when you installed HB? Because by default HB installs in C:\Users\Username\Documents\Honorbuddy\
The logs are found in C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Honorbuddy\Logs\<servername - charactername> and are txt files. They do not have the .log extension you've mentioned.

Yes I changed the directory and yes I know, they are txt files. But they have personal info I'm not about to post here. I've seen other posts on how to attach error log files, and they all had .log at the end.

      Hi again, Ordell,

The logs have NO personal information in them. We consider such things to be "Critical" Honorbuddy bugs. Honorbuddy log files ALWAYS end in a .txt extension—NOT .log.

Are you certain you are using Honorbuddy? Because, your observations are NOT of Honorbuddy.

If you are unwilling to post the logs, we cannot assist you further with this.

      cheers,
      chinajade
