So after a few friends asking me about exactly how HB works, I streamed a private stream to them for them to see it in operation - I've decided to make a slightly more permanent stream for it for newer people to see what it does, roughly how it works. For the most part the stream won't be monitored, I'll just leave it to run. If you're interested, it'll be going here: [EDIT 23-Apr-2016 by chinajade]: Removed link to third-party site. Such things are forbidden by the forum rules. Please have a read before making your next post: Ref: BosslandGmbH forum rules You should also know that streaming a bot session is a very VERY bad idea. The follow-up posts in this thread should make clear exactly how bad the idea is.
Such botting showoff is clearly not a good idea. Would recommend you to take it off, or keep it private. The last guy I heard of publicly streamed Honorbuddy got whole his subnet permabanned for extreme explotation! Including all his current accounts, plus all the accounts, logged from subnet in the last few years! And yea, he was running powerleveling service for clients, so his clients accounts got permabanned too!
Its not new... and since you can see names, it could happen that you get banned for this. Use addons or what ever so there are no names or times on the show.
You're quite stupid to show your character name, not gonna lie. Took me 10 seconds to find your armory as well.
Ya I use to work for a power leveling company back in MoP, my boss made the mistake of naming his account Bossland and Bossland related, and then on top of that streamed it, they hit all of his personal accounts, one was worth like 900$ because it had very rare mounts on it including the black gate beetle mount and quite a bit of achievements that you can no longer get as well, he lost everything, they hit him so hard, he was a grown man and he actually cried because of it, and he just let the company die after that
I got it from EchoTiger, he shown me that you can just :Hide(); any UI element like that. Use /fstack to see what the name of an element is on mouseover.
Took me some time, but found the exact case - it happened in Feb 2013 and got explained on other site (OC) why this was very BAD IDEA: Project Bot Ban (With LiveStream) P.S. As I have mentioned on page one, that guy was running power leveling company, and all of his recent clients accounts got hit as well. Brilliant mind! As conclusion: Even after botting is most likely legal, its Blizzard's own game, and they use their own rules ingame the way they like to, so messing with them in such hilarious attitude would probably give more damage to any individual than benefit!
