Hi. How Risky is gatherbuddy2 ? I just started using it, do you guys have any tips for me while using this option from the bot ? All information is welcome ^^!
Gatherbuddy2 itself is safe it more about how you choose to use it. I've used it tons and never had any issues but I don't run it for hours on end. I think the art is to be as human as possible i.e. no human is going to farm herbs for 10 hours straight without any breaks.

I don't agree.. Gathering seems to lead to a ban.. if you do it in any sort of money making fashion.. I bot for a part time living.. and I have not gathered since MOP... they seem to have worked out a connection with gathering and bots.
Gatherbuddy and all the alternates even mr robotto, all went down hill in MOP just like BGbuddy sadly Gathering & PVPing just arent worth the risk any more imo sadly
My experience has always been decent but like I said I don't run it for hours and maybe only once or twice a week. I should imagine the ban would be related to having 10000 auction house listings or linked to nodes per hour over a certain time frame. If your being sensible it's safe
I've been running Gatherbuddy 24/7 for about 5 months now, through the December ban wave, and the January tripwire. My tips would be get the free plugin avoid players, turn off ninja nods, and switch servers/toons every 30-35 minutes, I personally have enough toons so that it's atleast 5 hours before returning to a server/toon. This will help you avoid being that guy that people see 10 times while doing their dailys. Now with WOD being included in the battlechests, it's a very cheap initial investment, if you plan to sell the gold.
