Hello! Ive been using honorbuddy on and off since the release of cata where i leveled numerous toons to lvl 85 and then through all the recent expansions and never had any issues with honorbuddy or blizzard bugging me about botting. Since the banwave i lost my main account (like many others) for 6 months and ive recently made a new one to play on in the mean time. RAF and leveling through dungeons as many others have started. I hit 90 just today and am curious if others have gone back to their old ways of botting. I hate questing and to be honest it bores me to death anymore. I guess my question is has anyone botted since the banwave and had any emails or gms message them (friend had this happen) since they made a new account or banned even after the banwave? Is it safe to go back to botting? i think im gonna use this second account to make me gold and use for some achievements or mounts i want but gonna steer clear of using the main that i leveled by hand for a long time. My and a friends account also got banned for 6 months. the funny thing: he started botting because i told him to do and save a lot of time by botting. he started botting like 1 to 2 weeks before the banwave. i remember a friend of mine got hit in 2014 and i was like: "oh my gosh lets check out if im banned"... i wasn't. i did survive 2 waves when i actually botted active. started playing/botting again like 6 months ago (had a break of wow). in my lifetime as botter i did never bot anything else than Questing, Dungeons and PVP. (just leveling many chars to maxlevel and equipping them PVP-Gear) atleast 3 weeks before banwave i started using some other botbases and botted my fishing from 140 or something to 700. i also used some gathering profiles and gathered like 4 hours on only 1 day. 1-2 weeks before banwave a new character of me got stuck between lvl 7-9 somewhere in durotar and did some stupid moves. a player reported me (i know that because he whispered me that he did report me). 19. May - Banwave -> Ban (Friend was banned and me 10mins later) because of the informations i got i don't really know if blizz found a way to detect HB or if they just scan some activities like for example fishing from 0 to 700 in a day or whatever. my new account that i play with my friend is a RAF linked account and we both don't bot on these accounts. i started botting today on a starter account and got 2 chars on lvl 20 now (2 realms) the account im botting is running on a VM with some other ID's than my Host-PC and on another IP-Adress. i will test this for some time and then buy the account and bot it to maxlevel. im only going to use Questing and maybe Dungeons. to say something to that gm thing.. i once got whispered on my starting times when i was new to botting. it was something like "how did you die so much your statistics are unnormal for your level" i was leveling a discipline priest and somehow he died very much and i did'nt recognize. i wrote him back something like: "it's because of pvp that i have this statistics" (i had like 100 deaths on lvl 20) he did not say anything more and also i think it only was a player (had no blizz icon) but why the f*** was he going to inspect a lvl 20 chars statistics??
@djdomrep Thats so crazy i just got my buddy into botting about 3 weeks before the banwave and helped him with some kicks profiles and what not to get his lvl 100s faster and to essentially run while he was at work and what not. He also got banned and i feel a tad guilty but he knew and hes not really upset. I got a new account that ive been hand leveling with a buddy with RAF and its been fairly fast. Before the banwave i used a bot to farm light leather and medium leather (high price on ah) just to make some extra thousands for flying on new characters and what not basic botting stuff. I havent changed my ip address or anything and havent ran honorbuddy just yet on the new account just kinda worried it might happen again. Weird how we have such similar stories, hope all goes well in the near future! Keep me updated if you could on the new accounts and if youve had any trouble. Thanks a lot!
Sorry for replying so late was busy the last month. So atleast both accounts have a lvl 100 Character that has been all leveled up with Kick's profiles (up to lvl 90 running 98%afk) i bought both accounts like 2 or 3 days after my post on 26.05.16 and they are running fine since now. running the azyul project profiles for goldfarming sometimes 90hours without break. already generated like 500k gold. no ban since now. gonna keep it up.
What are you doing to generate so much gold? And how are you transfering the gold off the bot accounts? Im trying to get setup similar to that
just running azyul project in some dungeons like 24/7 with some short breaks sometimes. also not selling everything, because there are some good item drops that can be sold for a good price at the auctionhouse.
