so after first legion pre-patch and the last few patches. i started to get a Loading screen every time i maximize or minimize my wow screen . wow wouldnt remember my Resolution settings. i am running 10+ wow screens and bots this became a pain to check my bots. blizzard finally helped me fix it. it is a addon causing all the trouble ( no just disabling it will not help ). it is in your ( C:\World of Warcraft\Interface ) folder best way to fix it is rename the Interface folder to " Interface old " soon as you start the game wow will make a new interface folder for you. then add back your addons one at a time. No more loading screen .. hope it helps if you had this happen to you
Sorry i do not know the addon . its a all bot computer so i just deleted them all . no plans on Re- installing any addons . on my main account and computer i never had the problem .. i did try to disable the addons and it never helped . only worked after i made a all new folder . LIST OF ADDONS i used: All the blizzard crap Npc scan DBM GreenWall Identity-2 HandyNotes PGFinder Postal RCLootCouncil ServerHop Skada TheUnderminejournal TomTom
it take me few days to figuer it out, but there you go to fix this, in wow : press ESC -> System -> Advance -> Graphics API change it to(Directx 11), EVEN u have it as Directx 11, change it to 9 save it, then again change it to 11 then save it again , exit wow and run it again and BINGO it work
ok every wow has interface folder if you delete it wow will remake it soon as you start wow. if you use addons or not
