Hi buddies, I have a question. On my battle.net account, I have two WoW accounts attached. One of them is my main account, the other one an account for random stuff. My question is, if I were to bot on my main account, and id be caught botting (only planning on doing fishing/archaelogy), would both of my accounts get banned, or just the main account? I cannot find any info on this anywhere. Cheers
No your second account wont be banned if your main account is, Though I would suggest making a fresh battle.net account for botting.
Yeah, I know thats the best recommendation anyone can give. However, im not planning on botting to make piles of gold, or anything. Simply wanted to level 1-800 Fishing. I have been botting alot in the past, and had my fair shares of bans.
It doesn't matter if you use fishing bot for 1 minute or Gatherbuddy two for 4 days straight, the likelihood of getting banned is pretty much the same. If i was you, I would not bot on your main account, or any account linked to your main on your battle net. I have my main account, never bot on it since I lost my main a long time ago. Each of my bot accounts has its own bnet and own email and IP. Gotta protect your main accounts even if you dont bot on them nowadays. They can associate it as benefiting from your botting account and ban it as well.
Was wondering about this too. I have two WoW keys on my B.Net, and they have both been banned at different times (only using CRs, believe it or not). I would like to make a third account to just use CRs on and leave my main one alone - I like having my mounts, xmogs, toys, etc. available even when botting.
