After this banwave, I've decided it's not worth botting and losing my main account anymore. SO, I've decided to completely remove all traces of Honorbuddy on my main rig, and play 100% legit. On my laptop, though, I'd like to continue botting...oh...1 suicide account to generate gold. Mind you, I wouldn't be trading gold/mats to my main, and won't have any interaction with it. No trading, no guildbank, no party, no whispers/chat, etc. From the communities experience, if I got hit in a banwave with my suicide account, would my main account suffer the same fate? Brand new battlechest/legion on my main, never been touched with the bot.

you should be 100% safe if you never use the bot.

I'd probably just use a free vpn to do it on a trash account....but then whats the point if you never benefit from the gold on your main, or are you just going to sell it for money?

if you use 2 account on your pc 1 with hb injected other one without only, that account that hb injected will be risk to ban other account is safe and if you have hb on your pc is not lead you to ban anymore. you will not ban if hb also runed only on your pc. its only chance of ban when its injected to a wow id

I play both my main account and my 3 bot accounts on the same PC, same IP, same WoW instance. I've only injected into the latter 3, ever. Those 3 were banned, the main was not. Now, that's not to say if they dug a little bit manually they couldn't associate my main with the rest, but so far it seems like they only ban WoW licenses themselves, and only ones that were injected on.

The exception to that being if you get banned by player report or exploitation of economy, I personally believe that would put your entire account at risk. I see them as treating the offenses in varying levels - if you bot for personal benefit, don't mess with other people, and get detected then you get a single license, 6 month ban. If you suicide bot, get reported a bunch, mess with the economy, or ruin PVP - then you open yourself up to more.

I can confirm that a clean account run from the same computer with the same IP with a bot account AT THE SAME TIME both running is still fine. My clean account has full access to the millions of guild vault gold. Multiple mails from bot account to main acct with expensive items and gold were not reversed or punished. If they dug deeply, it is very clear all the accounts are mine, but they seem to only ban the accounts with HB injected into that account. Somehow their detection can tell which acct has the injection and which didn't even on the same computer.

This obviously is not a guarantee, but I'm not the only one posting that access to your guild bank and all your mail and transactions remained intact with this mass ban. Same thing happened to me with last year's ban - they left the associated accounts and guild funds alone.
