      Hello

My headless botting rig is stuck at 640x480 resolution when there is no monitor connected to it and I access it via remote desktop like TeamViewer or any other similar app.
Is there any solution to this or is buying HDMI dummy plug the only solution?

Install gfx drivers and you should be able to switch resolutions.

I have GPU drivers installed and working. If I plug the monitor in and out then the resolution is fixed but after some time it resets back to 640x480 and possibly crashes games or even bluescreen and reboot.

Connect a fake adapter to the HDMI or DP port. This works and always tells the system a monitor is connected. You can get them for a few $ in Ebay.

I'm guessing it's the one that describes your issue exactly, not the one that's a common adapter.
