I'm just coming back to wow for legion expansion and after leveling two toons from 100-110 I'm thinking about creating an alt account to farm mats for my mains if I use a VPN and only use the buddy system to lvl to 110 and farm what are the odds of getting caught? Also what are the chances of getting my main account band for sending the mats to them from my bot account is there possibly a good way to wash the mats some how?

Also I would be using to separate computers one with my main account on it which is a mac and an hp to run the alt account and bot system.

My opinion - Your botting account will definitely get banned, eventually. I wouldn't get attached to it. If I were doing it, I would open a guild and use the guild bank to launder the mats through to your main. If I were doing it that way, and botting a separate account, on a separate computer, I wouldn't worry much about my main being banned. Just doing post hundreds of raw mat auctions on the AH, on your main.

This is obviously just an opinion based on my experience over three and a half years. I've never had an account banned just for being associated with a bot account guild bank. I've also had the same guild since 2012 and never had Blizz clean it out when a bot account gets banned.

It has to be said, and I'm sure you've heard it over and over again, if you're worried about getting banned, do not bot. Eventually, it seems like everyone gets caught.

Would I need to try and add other plays to the guild or could I just have the two char my main and bot in the guild?

You don't need anyone but your main account and bot account in the same guild.

Would it be a big deal if I didn't have a VPN then as long as I played the accounts on two different computers? And should I Waite for the next ban wave to be inforced before I start!?
