Did you hear anything like D3 RMAH ?
3k euros is not a huge amount in this market, at least for OP who is a well known popular reseller.

Obviously we considered the risk and we understood something like this could happen from Blizzard side. Remember that we didnt put 3k usd into it, its outcome that we would get (-20% considering we were selling keys cheaper than normal resellers). We put much, much less cash to get the gold required for that.

Reseller, another word for, guy who does nothing but scam people to buy cheap shit to sell higher for profit who does no work at all. Now you're trying to find a loophole in the bnet balance and abuse it, I'm glad they're taking action and driving you out of business, get rekt.

Reselling is not scamming. Its part of every business. Car dealers for instance. Parts stores, Grocery stores and so forth.

Now I think the error here in balance and why you are getting banned is the gold itself. Happened to me when tokens came out originally.
I have an idea on gold that seems to work and makes it safer. Takes a bit of work, but essentially washes gold. Feel free to pm if need to know.
Do not want to make it well known until I put it through longer trial.

What? There's people seriously handicapped in this forum.

A massive percentage of businesses rely on distribution. Probably, most.

If you don't understand anything about economics and trade principles, just refrain from sharing your dumbness. Go educate yourself, or finish school. Whatever happens first for you.

Buying cheap and selling high with no effort is scamming in my book, regardless of what the law says, that's your opinion, but these fuckers do nothing except try to hog all the profits for themselves so people can't sell their gold because they have monopoly on the market. One day, probably soon this stuff is also going to be reglemented by laws, legislation is going to catch up.

Distributing a good that is not owned by them, but blizzard, to which they have no right to distribute, then he cries he got fucked and blizz banned his shit and took his balance, oh noes.

You're missing the keyword LEGITIMATE Business.

So you seem to focus now on the Legion keys.... They paid the cost of the product in Gold just like you can. That's legitimate.

About the right to distribute, Blizzard knew this could happen the very moment they allowed games and expansions being sent as "gifts". Yet they still did, cause....profit.

Actually, I think the procedure of reversing a sale and then cancel an account and emptying its battlenet balance without refunding it to the account owner is blatantly illegal.

That being said, feel free to sue them; the cost of doing so clearly overweights the benefit.

Gold that wasn't theirs, that they fraudulently bought from others in violation of the EULA, trying to make a profit. Blizzard flagged them, removed all gold and everything bought with said gold. As for legality, their legal team is pretty qualified to tell blizzard what they can or can not do, legally. They own everything, your character, your gold and everything you use your gold for, including bnet balance. He's trying to weasel his way around to get some easy profit with the newly implemented bnet balance conversion and got cought, and dealt with.

Oh, so you are talking about gold being illegitimate. In a bot forum. Really.

      What are you doing here?

Don't talk about Blizzard legal team if you don't know what they have done in the past. They have made huge mistakes. They normally beat others due to quantity, not quality.

They own your battlenet balance? Something that you can fund with Real Money or In game gold? Oh no, absolutely not.

You seem to have some weird hate towards resellers. Which is pretty ridiculous. They are not your "yellow enemy". They simply provide you with a service; you can opt for it or not. Feel free to find you own buyers and ignore resellers.

I sure as hell value my time more.

No I don't care about whether he's a reseller, or a private seller or anything. He tries to weasel around using insane amounts of gold to make a profit using the new bnet balance conversion and cries about it. They do own your battlenet balance if it's obtained via token exchange, he didn't buy that balance using his own money, he just got it via gold, and yes they own it, both the gold and the balance obtained with that gold.

Also, it being a bot forum or not, has nothing to do with the fact that what he did is against blizzard EULA, as is everything pretty much around on this forum, in other words, just like the bans for using any 3rd party programs, abuse of economy etc.. . You try to weasel around and cheat, you get busted, you don't get to cry about it.

When it comes to the service resellers provide, blizzard is now offering it to you via the token which you can use to get gold. Trying to circumvent it en-masse and doing what he does to chase a profit is a big no no for Blizzard when they are now offering you this service.

And I think it's others who don't like the truth, not me ;), have a good night.

Blizzard reserves the right to reduce, liquidate, deactivate, suspend or terminate Battle.net Balance added to the Account or access to Battle.net Balance or other Blizzard Games or Service features if Blizzard determines, after investigation and in accordance with Section 9(B)(ii) below, that you have misused Battle.net Balance or have otherwise used Battle.net Balance to conduct any fraudulent or illegal activity.

Technically they do own your b.net balance. Whether funded with real money or gold it is still a virtual currency you purchased with your money. They reserve the right to make it not refundable (like game time when you get banned). So even if you pay for it with your own money you still hold a virtual currency that they own, regulate, and distribute. Nothing in wow is owned by the player except for game keys which can also be forfeited. You have no rights. You pay them to rent their stuff. It falls under all of their ToS and the EULA. So yes. Yes they do own your b.net balance.

Technically, he's correct. Honorbuddy is a hack. Using other peoples software for hacking and/or *****ing makes you considered a script kiddie. Do you know what a script kiddie is?

Nopes. Your post is quite correct but there is 1 big misconception.

ToS and EULA are NOT laws. More often that not, people here consider something along these lines: " Hey, I signed them, so I am legally bound by them". Reality is that you aren't. We are bound by laws.

Technically(you like that word, I don't),private contracts or agreements cannot oppose the local law wherever they are applied. But there are so many of them that no legal authority or department is going to read them carefully to check if there are illegalities. And this gap is frequently used by companies to force absolutely abusive terms which are illegal in plenty of places.

Blizzard ToS and EULA are a big-time example of that. So, even if it says they own anything, that doesn't have to be true. Or if they say any other crap.

And, having created a system where there is a direct correlation between Real-life money and their bnet balance, any lawyer would love to argue that against the jury. That a sure win; no matter that you call that virtual wallet bnet balance, bitcoin or paypal balance, there's laws of appliance which they can't surpass or circumvent.

They could have made another big legal mess-up with this one. Yet again. I wouldn't be surprised on the slightest.

roneo1, stop embarrass yourself please, before its too late!

Could you point me just one reseller, which "buy high and sell cheap"? :D

Every bussiness have its own risks, gains and wastes. If you have never attempted gold reselling business, please do not blame the persons, which do it.

The resellers, writing on the forum are neither "no effort" ones, neither they do have monopoly in those, when old monsters like Offgamers (for example) are cashing millions of US$ monthly with the gold reselling stuff.
