If I decide to keep playing WoW... I have to do everything manually now that HB is detected? like... leveling toons, grinding gold, raiding, grinding reps, farming mounts, etc? AW HELLLL NO. I havent played this game manually in a longggggggg time. HB was such a joy. Im not sad about my account, I'm sad that HB is not longer working....
Manual Garrison management... Manual fishing... MMmmmmnope. I may just wait out the 6 month suspension (if its not lifted. No answer on my ticket yet). Sucks that it was my main account. Not perma'd so no complete loss. Plus I quit playing for a few years off and on so doesnt overly effect me. However... explaining to my guild why they lost their mascot warlock/pet summoner? EHHHH Facing that punishment and explaining why I wont be there for 6 months or just visiting via voice chat and asking not to be removed from the guild as I love them lots is considerably worse than not playing the game. Still going to bookmark the PvP ladders and watch them shuffle pretty hard though. Plus the progression raiding guilds are being hit hard with a good portion of them being banned. Gold prices will skyrocket. Token price will surely change as not many people will be buying it so the price will probably skyrocket or plummet to the point of being pointless. People selling carries will vanish, etc etc. I wonder how the legit players will adapt to the changes as really most of the botters on my server kept the prices competitively low. I'm sure other servers will see a change in the economy as well since people have to farm by hand. No more low prices on the AH!
Certainly one of those "sheit" moments. Some people raging, WoW Forums have a lot going on too, some people just going to quit. Some of my friends who know I bot and got banned are annoyed as they got free mats from me all the time. I know some people here did not get banned. If you lucky few don't get banned by the end of the wave can you watch the AH? I'm now just curious to see how much botting stabilized the economy on some servers. I predict prices will go up since botters will not be selling mats and competing with prices. The WoW Token will follow suit as well (either will drop as useless, or skyrocket to pointlessness). With the rumors of the Treasure Hunter and gold making garrison builds being nerfed, we shall see what happens. Still waiting on a reply for my appeal. Is taking a long time good news? The ticket is still open...
I have one account that didn't get banned. I've never botted on it, but i've laundered about 8million gold to it over the years. Im half tempted to spoof my mac address. connect to a different wifi and destroy the auctionhouse
There is no point in lying or hiding.. Every trade chat, forums (official and fans).. talks non stop!! Soon someone will figure it
The funny thing is, I think i decided the other day when blizzard said it wasn't going to allow flying on WOD or future expansions that I decided I was quitting. This step alone hurt botters.
I was hacked several years ago and it took about 48 hours to appeal, this was during a time where there was no ban wave, before I had ever botted, and just an every day submission. Do you really think, today of all days, your appeal will be responded to within 8 hours of submission?

I was basing my timeframe to those stating they got a reply within minutes. Automated reply yes, but a reply no less. Also added the fact that some people are saying Blizzard employees were told not to allow any appeals to overturn the suspensions/bans (yet some people got through). Looking at it your way though, I see your point. I am but one of MANY people attempting to appeal the suspension. So it may be a while for a reply. I still hope for good luck as my account has not had a past infraction of any sort. If not, still "oh well". Got my 3DS out and its time to catch up on training my Pokemon anyways. Perhaps go to VGC events now that my weekends are suddenly open!
Agreed, I wrote a well worded appeal and it was not instantly denied. It's been 10 hours since I appealed and I have not heard back. I am pretty sure the people who are posting "they denied me in 6 minutes itz auto crap" sent an appeal that looked like an 8 year old wrote it, and starting begging, yelling, and calling bullshit at them.
Same, mine wasn't instantly denied as well, I was also online at the time I got disconnected and described to them exactly what I was doing when I got banned.
