I was botting around 8 hours a day, just an average thing and all 6 of my accounts got banned this patch 9/1/2015. Honorbuddy said that "No topics titled "Banwave" when there is not a banwave. Admins and Mods will make posts addressing Banwaves." but ALL the accounts were different ips and my friends got banned aswell. What should we do? Will honorbuddy help us get the ban repealed?

      https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/ban-section-ban-reports/

Above is the appropriate subforum for reporting bans, and please provide as much info as possible.

Having said that, I doubt HB is going to help you repeal your bans. HB is overall a very safe program, but any kind of botting comes with risks. What kind of activities were you conducting? About 75% of bans are a result of player reports.

They were farming dungeons. could not have been a player report. Since the may banwave it hasnt been so called "safe" from what I can tell... When my friends and i all get banned from it, it doesnt look as "safe" as it used to be, or safe at all.

Try to fill out a ban report. Were you selling gold? Were you posting lots of AHs? Were you using a determinable pattern in logins/logoffs? Were all the accounts linked?

Generally speaking, I find HB to be very safe to use, so long as you monitor your accounts carefully, and have nothing to do with any gold selling or other activity, and don't rely too heavily on automation. IMO, if you have accounts doing nothing but farming dungeons all day, well. That is not the behavior of a normal user, especially when they're all together farming, all the time. So there is some evidence they might have been able to use to ban you.

You cannot be serious? You expect them to contact Blizzard on your behalf or something come on. I still new around here but I knew the risks when signing up I paid for a life 3 connections and bot 3 accounts If today they get banned so be it. If you don't want your account ban do not bot. If you do then expect sometimes to loose your accounts and don't be a sook or be a tightarse and buy some more accounts or give it up and play normally.
Also druiddruid I saw a felblight farming druid bot with an almost identical name on an u.s server not naming which ninjaring felblights skinning and general chat was going off about it. I hope that wasn't you since that bot must of got 20+ reports that day.

@Zonkers Actually, it was solo farming dungeons, not dungeon buddy. So no i dont think your reason is as viable there as you may have thought.

Fair enough, but given after the may banwave which I joined afterwards and knew that their could be a risk if you kept botting. They make it undetectable sure but you don't think Blizzard are finding new ways to detect then it's a cat and mouse game as to why I said earliar expect this sort of action when you get into botting there is heaps of info on this.
Also if there was an ban wave going like may YOU THINK this forum would be flooded with reports. So far it is only yours.
You never know what Blizzards tactics are, someone may of slipped up they did an intensive investigation and linked them all somehow no one knows what they do when they physically investigate.
At best honorbuddy does it best to be undetectable to warden not the actual g.ms or other players.

Blizzard monitors some specific dungeons (speacially from WotLK and Cata) for people farming them for hours and hours (what just few people do it by hand)... everyone knows this...

We're locking this thread. This is nothing more than an subtle and unacceptable attempt by Druidruid to fear-monger. This is not the first time, and frankly, such intentional deception is getting wearisome.

Bliz can look at your CPUID and other parts of the machine fingerprint to know EXACTLY how many WoWclients are being run by the same machine. This is true whether you use VMs, different IPs, or whatever. This is NOT a flaw in Honorbuddy.

Bliz is also known to watch certain dungeons for unusual behavior. This is no surprise. Our forums are filled good advice from very seasoned botters in this regard. Learn from the experience, and don't make the same mistake again. Accept the fact that if you bot you WILL get banned. If you are not prepared for this, you shouldn't be botting.

Do not open another thread on this topic.

      cheers,
