The new detection nobody is safe , here is the latest release. ?!?

So they found what is getting everyone?
Does this mean the latest release is now fixed to avoid the detections? Or some Future build ( like this is going to take a long time ?) will have a fix ?

 

Bossland would never open the authentication server if they new of a detection method without doing whatever they can to avoid or get around it. If you read the sticky about the tripwire event Raphus mentions that they were implementing a work around which is why there was a short downtime on the bot.

Is this going to make you 100% safe? No
Is it probably safer than it was before the last Tripwire and bans? yes

 

if a mod will answer.. would be good to know if this means all on the last tripwire got caught, cuz there was no fix be4.
they may see if it was the old "glitch".

 

A mod is not going to answer. The HB team does not give information about their detection schemes away. We're lucky they even told us that they found more data on their detection schemes.

Can you assume that changes were made to protect us, Yes. But as nucleoutides said, we'll never know how safe we are.

No, they never said anything remotely close to what they said after this last tripwire event.

I'll answer. Unless they release an x64 client blizzard still has the most obvious, simple, and loggable flag just hanging out. At this point it's apparent bossland isn't willing to invest the time to port the client over regardless of performance boons or security potential. Shame as I really wanted to come back for legion, my top 50 guild actually expects that I am.

Unfortunately judging by a few factors and variables available to anyone playing or not, botting or not, wow isn't headed in a good direction and is likely on its way out. That doesn't matter as much to me as the fact that the only MO for botting now is suicides or profit - made up of people that wouldn't know an mmorpg if it kicked them in the teeth, nor that care about the faux one they're botting in.

The reason I'm not returning is the aforementioned coupled with the fact I care much about my 44 100s. Imagine how little you would have to care to throw your accounts away in any game tbh. Not the type of people I want to play with.

Meanwhile blizzard is hypocritically selling gold while banning us for doing so. Banning us for leveling while they do nothing about griefers en masse and people who seek to find entertainment by trashing the game and the people in it.

It's just toxic now and beyond risky. Not even worth playing by hand. The game seen its best days 9+ years ago. Even then it was soft for an mmo but the more casual something becomes the more it's permeated by kids and trash. Look at the wii. Look at farmland or whatever it is on Facebook.

Before you ask why I'm still here then, not only because I invested 11 years of my life in the upper echelon of the game each and every day, but because I was hoping due to the mass consistent bannings something would change.

For now, banging my head against the wall trying to determine whether or not 4x Titan ---> 4x 980ti is a worthy upgrade for oculus or whether I should use the extra scratch towards my surround sound setup.

Suggesting that the use of 32bit client is automatic flag is wrong, it will pull too many false positives. There are still people who play by hand on systems that cannot or won't run 32bit correctly.
During vanilla and burning crusade I raided on dialup with an atrocious laptop. This game really does not take much to run on low.

As far as his first paragraph... bossland has posted their stance on x64, they have stated every reason why its not going to happen. Constantly bringing it up like those threads never happened won't get you anywhere. Its why every thread that is opened to talk about x64 deleted. Fan boy or no fan boy, bossland has made their stance clear and that it was final.

Judging by Interim's join date, he is either somebody who joined to troll after a ban wave or somebody who had their account banned and then made a new one. So much for 11 years but waits until 3 months ago to make an account for a bot forum. Then you have to ask why are you even concerned about the moral qualities of people in a bot forum and whether or not you would even want to play with them? If the concept of playing with a bot and risking a ban is so appalling for you, then you really should not be here. They may need to start requiring key verification to post.
