So I've got some routes that farm starlightroses in Suramar.
My problem is that when I farm with my Skygolem that the character goes back
to mobs and starts to hit them instead of farming the herb and running away.
Is there anyway to fix this? I already selected that the bot shouldn't attack between nodes.
I see some people farming with the Sky Golem very fast and efficient.
Do they use some private profile and some other plugins?

They fight mobs because the "Withered Hungerer" mobs that you aggro can drop up to 6x starlight rose.

No they just use a high octane gasoline.

But in all seriousness, my guess is that they run a paid profile from the store.

This is something I would like to know not only for the "Sky Golem" but also when using the "Barding" from LW and "Stirrups" from BS (so you can't get dazed/dismounted and you can herb while mounted). With this items used the bot almost works perfectly when harvesting nodes without aggro or mobs around. However with aggro the bot almost always attacks any guys hitting/aggro'd to him. Additionally I noticed sometimes even when no one is after me the bot will randomly dismount at a node after gathering it.

Is there a way to disable dismounting completely when gathering? I use 2 different paid profile packs with the same issue.

Which profile is actually the best? Some routes are really bad, the bot is running forth and back doing sometimes nothing.

Which one are you running? And do you farm with sky golem?

I dont get it. Bought a golem today and my bot keeps dismounting when herbing and then runs to kill mobs 40-50 yards away. I have unchecked kill between spots and whatever else i can.

Having the same problem, would love to know how to get the bot to not dismount to fight off mobs.

      Hello,

I was having the same issue with Sky Golem bc my bot would dismount and turn back to fight mobs.

What i did to solve this problem is edit the .xml file to avoid the mobs.

      1. Go to your bot directory.

      2. Right click the .xml gatherer profile > edit with notepad OR notepad++ (or similar).

      3. You should see a section called <AvoidMobs>.

      4. In order to start avoiding the mobs you're encountering and never fight them, you should add their names AND their IDs into that section (you can get all this info from wowhead).

      5. Let's say your bot dismounts and starts fighting some mobs called "Saberfang Worg" (a mob you normally find on your fjarlsganggl farming route). You should add the following line in the <AvoidMobs> section: <Mob Name="Saberfang Worg" Entry="111206" />. It should look like this:

NOTE: you need to do this for every profile you're using. Don't expect your bot avoid the mobs from SURAMAR if you added the mobs to avoid from STORMHEIM.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you want to do what you see every other "bot" doing then you only are going to increase the risk of being reported or if someone else is reported, being observed doing the exact same thing..... just food for thought.
