I wanted to make this in the guide section but could not post there. If this is useful info, could a mod please move it.

Safest Way to Bot From 1-80, Even if you Bot Recklessly. A Guide for the Paranoid.

This is how to get characters on your precious main account to 80 without the fear of being banned. While this may seem like common sense to some, there is a way to level as many toons as you want from 1-80 with almost no chance of getting banned. The method is simple. Use a new Refer a Friend botted account to grant levels to your characters on your 'clean' bot free account. Why is it ALMOST impossible to get banned? Simple, even with not a single teeny tiny bit of proof that you are abusing the RaF system and no actual botting being done on the main account, Blizzard can ban your clean account for any reason they want. They can even ban you if you never do a single thing wrong (and they have) according to their terms and conditions. Although I highly doubt anyone would ever get their main account banned for botting this way, there is a chance that if you were really stupid about it they could remove your RaF levels. In the EXTREMELY unlikely event you got banned for this, the ban should be easily appealed (Blizzard, why am I getting banned just because my 'friend' botted? I should not get punished for his/her mistakes!). Here is how:

      1) Create a fake email address with Google, Hotmail, or any other such service.

      2) Send a Refer a Friend request to that fake email using the 'clean' account you want to make level 80 characters on.

      3) With the new Refer-a-Friend account, make a fake battle.net account. Use a fake name, address and a password/username/security question that is different than your real 'clean' account. Don't be stupid here, try to make the account look real so don't name yourself ?Ihate Blizzard?. Give the account an address in the same city as you since if Blizzard asks you, this is your 'friend's' account, certainly not yours! *wink* Note: Read step 6 before you do this step!

      4) Upgrade the RaF account to Burning Crusade with the Battle Chest. There are often sales where these can be purchased for only 5$. Try to avoid buying the upgrade directly from the blizzard store since you need to give them your real payment info to do this. If you do get it from the Blizzard store, buy it with your real 'clean' account and gift it to the new RaF account. This also grants you 30 days of play time.

      5) (optional) If you want to put some more time on this account past the initial 30 day trial period, pay for the account using a game time card off the Blizzard store and gift it to your new RaF account. It is perfectly normal for people to buy game time for their RaF 'friends'. Better yet, get the game time card from somewhere else (ie. a store) if you can. The first 30 days on this account will also grant you 30 days of free time on your main account, so there is almost no reason not to do this. Add another 30 days play time on top of that and your main account will get a special mount too!

      6) (optional, but highly recommended) For extra security, do not play this new account from a computer you play your normal account on. You can use the same computer as your clean account if you use a *** service to hide your real ip while playing this new RaF account only. If you use *** to hide your IP, when you make the battle.net account, try to put an address that is in the same city/country as the IP you are being assigned.

      7) Bot as many characters as you safely can from 1-80 on the newly created RaF account. These RaF account characters must all be on the same server and faction as the character(s) on your main account that you want to level with the grant-able levels. You have a 90 day time limit for this part (after 90 days, you can no longer grant levels). If you are new to botting, I suggest you check Jet8's guide at http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/guides/43354-how-1-85-a.html . It is a little out of date but most of the info there is still good.

      8) For each level 80 character you manage to make, you can grant 39 levels to your clean account, but not past level 80. To know the specifics about level granting through the Refer-a-Friend program, check out https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/recruit-a-friend-faq .

Keep in mind that while your clean account will be mostly safe from bans, the new RaF account your are botting on is NOT safe so be sure to bot smart (don't bot 24-7, don't leave your character jumping into a lamp post in Stormwind for 6 hours because you are not monitoring the bot etc...). Quest leveling for less than 8 hours a day with breaks in between and checking your bot often is one of the safest ways to bot.

If money is no object for you but safety and speed of leveling you main account is, use your current new RaF account to create a second new RaF account with the same name/address/password/email/battle.net/computer/IP account as the first RaF account (don't send the second invite from your main account or this will not work). Now have the two RaF accounts party and bot all the content together. They will both get TRIPLE exp until level 80 (but you will only be able to grant levels to your main account from the first RaF account, not the second one). The reason the info on both RaF accounts are the same is because if Blizzard asks your main account about the two RaF accounts if they got caught botting, you could tell blizzard that your 'friend' (the first RaF accounts) said he made a second RaF account so that 'he' could level up quickly by multi-boxing (multiboxing is not against the terms and conditions as long as it is done by hand). This makes you look extra innocent should the bots ever get caught.

If you just want to level up the characters on your main account as fast as possible to 80 with less regard to the safety of your main account (higher chance to get your main account banned), you could send a RaF invite from your main account to 4 different battle.net accounts you make, create a level 1 character on your main account, then party with the 4 botting RaF accounts from 1-80. You would get all your account character to level 80 at the triple exp rate plus have 156 grant-able levels from your 4 botting RaF accounts. Keep in mind that even if you hand level the one character in the party that is from your main account, you are still significantly increasing the chance to get your main account banned since you would have a hard time explaining to blizzard that you 'did not know' that the four friends you were partying with were in fact bots. Also, four-five players moving in the EXACT SAME WAY is REALLY suspicious to other players and a good way to quickly get yourself reported for botting, so avoid any areas with other players. This is one case where leveling exclusively through dungeons may be to your advantage (no one in the instance is going to report you for botting if all 5 party members are you). The only problem I can see with 4 bots running a dungeon behind only 1 human player is that the bots just may not be good enough to actually complete the dungeons. I don't know, I have never tried that myself. At the very least, the one human controlled character should probably be the tank (bots are fairly good healers and decent DPS but they are usually stupid on any fights that are not just tank and spank).

Here is an extra tip I am adding as an afterthought. Don't be conspicuous. If you level 4 characters to level 80 on your RaF account, each will likely end up with about 2000g. If you strip all those characters once they are max level, sell all their gear, and send all the money to your main account, you just told Blizzard that those RaF accounts likely belong to you. No player strips themselves bare and then send everything to their friend (I suppose people who decide to quit after might, but why make things harder on yourself). Also, Blizzard tracks large gold transactions so this can draw unwanted attention to yourself. If you really want that gold, wait for a few months of no botting to make sure the RaF accounts don't get banned THEN send all the stuff to your main account. Sending bags and up to a few thousand gold to your RaF accounts on the other hand is fine. It is super common for players to help their friends out a little when they just start WoW.

Well, that is all I got for now. If I think of more stuff I will be sure to update this guide. Although this is very obvious stuff to some people, I hope it can be of use to others. I am a fairly bad programmer/scripter so hopefully this is one way I can give back to the community here. As with any post, if you like the information or find it helpful you can always click on the little star (looks like a sheriff's star to me) and rep the writer up as thanks (or rep them down if they are being naughty).
