Okay I have searched everywhere, these forums, Google and anywhere else I can think of and can not figure out how to use Routines that I have installed. I have found a couple that use acronyms and terminology that I do not understand. I have been in the hospital for the past 5 months and as you may or may not understand I am sick of acronyms and terms I do not understand. So now back to my question. Can someone give me a step by step listing on how to do this? Does it need a certain bot/profile/setting for me to be able to use them? Any help would be appreciated:confused.
- Install routine as per Routine installation instructions - Start HB - Select routine - Profit. There really isn't anything else to do, usually, to get a routine working. The single most important part is usually reading the post of the routine.
Files have been installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Honorbuddy\Routines All of them have been installed there. I have found 3 posts at least across the web that say that is where they go. I have confirmed multiple times that is where they are. Eight of them are SVN making it easy since at least two of those said to go to that folder, create a folder with a specific name and then configure the SVN to download the routine which worked in all cases. Suffice it to say there is something else going on here then not install them correctly since I have installed in a manner consistent with how multiple sources have told me to. If you have some advice on "Then you haven't installed it correctly." feel free to share as your response is vague and does not go into as much detail as the instructions I followed from the other posts.
He means if it's installed correctly (and functioning) upon starting the bot it will ask you which routine you wish to use. If it doesn't pop up it means there's only one routine for your class, or it wasn't installed correctly and wasn't loaded. Depending on which CC you use you need to follow its specific instructions as you know, the most important bit is the folder tree till you get to the guts inside of the routine. For example: Singular is Honorbuddy/Routines/Singular/*.cs where * is the guts of the routine with the .cs file extension and the other resource folders. Singular cannot be installed like Honorbuddy/Routines/Singular/Singular/*.cs or Honorbuddy/Routines/*.cs. If you've done this id double check if you're using the Honorbuddy shortcut on the desktop it's actually pointing to this installation and not another, the routines aren't giving any errors (Attach a Log if you're not sure), or if they support your class.
Hi Yered, You also may be getting compile errors that prevent Honorbuddy from recognizing the Routines you installed. To have any chance of seeing the problem, you must attach a full unedited log that captures the issue. Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log cheers, chinajade
View attachment 101357 save the routine here in this folder [see the folders!!] View attachment 101356 choose the routine here. if you only have one routine, this will not appear View attachment 101355 you can adjust your routine or custom class, or class routine or w/e you want to call it here.
