Ever since a WoW Patch or whatever, HB starts running WoW in Starter Edition, Meaning i have no characters what so ever to bot on. Now i've double checked and it's location is clearly selected to Wow.exe in the regular folder. This seems very strange because i don't even have WoW Starter Edition Installed. ! Any feedback or solutions are appreciated!
Starter edition is related to your account, has nothing to do with the wow.exe program. If you are using Arelog or HBrelog make sure you are putting in the name of the account you want to play, or have the starter edition removed from your account through battle.net.
Yes i know, that's the weird part, I've never ever used Starter Edition. But i guess i'll have to talk to blizzard about this issue like "Uh.. urgh.. uhm.. Sometime when i use WoW i get into Starter Edition insteed" Haha i'll figure something out
its a wow issue, not honorbuddy. you can have multiple wow accounts tied to your battle.net. your logging into the wrong wow account.
Hi, i am bumping this thread because i had the same issue. It always tried to connect on a starter account. Solution that worked for me: Delete the WTF folder also before launching hbrelog, just set the game window on windowed.
