Stuck on following: Honorbuddy v2.5.11936.755 started. Logging in... T: 5247195008730989776 H: 3930842759 Cleared settings, reinstalled, still same thing. Was working fine earlier today.
most recent log attached, ran buddywizard, reinstalled, ran both wow and hb as admin, still same thing.
Download the latest version of honorbuddy. http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy Then do a clean install into a new folder. Do not reinstall over a previous installation or move items from the old installation into the new one.
That was the latest version I had reinstalled twice already, but i did go ahead and do it again with the zip file link you provided and had the same result, that most recent log is attached here. Keep in mind also, that I was able to bot this morning with this version right after updating HB, this started happening this afternoon when I went to log back in.
are you sure you dont have an anti-virus program or something running that is removing or blocking access to honorbuddy and its files? make sure your not running any applications that can interfere with wow and honorbuddy. Help Desk
that was the first thing I tried was shutting down my Webroot client, i've done everything since then with the protection shutdown with no success.
Got some better information in the log file now, i went and added the EnableLog key in the registry and got this added information from the attached log: [02:27:21.900 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.11936.755 started. It is fixed, I went through the whole clean install process again using the Installer, not the ZIP download and making sure my Antivirus client was completely shutdown and now it works. Hope this helps anyone else who was having the same issue.
basically something was messing with that file, usually when we see it, its because someone did one install on top of another and they have mismatched versions to what version of honorbuddy they're running. in this case i think your AV was removing the file from the zip even before you got to extract it, and it was just missing.
