If I paid for a pass for all future dev updates, and there is someone refusing to honor that, who would I speak with about that?
All current and future products of the dev. I used to have access to a google drive with all profiles, but when they were moved to buddystore, I lost access. I talked to them about getting access to them on the buddy store, they asked me to provide proof of purchase, which I did, and I haven't heard from them since
not a damn thing the devs here can help you with since the pass was bought outside of the buddystore. You're going to have to work with the CR dev directly.
I can provide proof of purchase though. I have all emails stating specifically what the purchase is, and what it does. Bossland ultimately has control of the buddystore, and I expect that if a dev is not being honest, or ignoring a customer of them and bossland as a whole, that they would step in.

it doesn't make any difference. The pass was bought outside the buddystore, and thus, the HB team has nothing to do with your purchase. Work with the CR dev. That's your only recourse.
so - Bought when there was no buddy store and dev failing to comply - User Problem - Bought from buddystore and dev failing to update and comply - Still User Problem tbh, it would literally take seconds for the buddy team to add these to his account or give gift keys for him to add to the account, considering he has proof of purchase and the dev has ceased communication. Edit - OP how many days has it been since you got back to the dev with proof of purchase and also were you communicating VIA email or another format?
Hi, Saltynacho279, You will need to contact the original developer as ask for a "Gift Key". The Buddy Store makes such keys available to the third-party developers, so that their previous user base can be 'ported' to the version of the product now in the store. Only the original developer can provide these keys to the product. You will need to take the matter up with her. The Buddy Store was not party to the original transaction when you made it. cheers, chinajade
Its been 18 days since I sent proof of purchase. Also told them that I would be going to Bossland if I didnt hear back, which I havent.
Issue has been resolved. Dev had IRL problems to deal with, which now that I know about, I sympathize. Issue has been resolved, and thread can be closed
