Yeah I would steer clear of pets who live in water. What I do is fight in somewhere like Felwood with 2 ringers and 1 level 1, and after 1 fight the pet is level 6, then I move somewhere with around level 23 pets and use 2 level 25 pets to level up to 25.

I must have missed where it was said in the thread if it was but what setting do I have to put to power level pets? I want to level my pets from 1 with 2 ringers. Apparently "the way" is to have your level 1 attack once then swap out to your big hitters to gain a level per encounter but if I let my pet take damage that usually means it's dead. What do I have to set to have it do one attack then swap out to a ringer?

Once the fight starts Pokehbuddy is running the show. In the Pokehbuddy\PetSettings are files for the logic of the pet, you can change the logic to swapout a pet at a high health.

e.g. Amethyst Spiderling.xml, contains something like: SWAPOUT Health(THISPET) ISLESSTHAN 30@
which you could change either my editing the file or by using the pokehbuddy setting, to for example SWAPOUT Health(THISPET) ISLESSTHAN 90@.

If you guys go and get a Rare Power/Power Emperor Crab, you can just use 1 Ringer and level 2 pets at a time. I suppose it doesn't matter because the XP is split between the two... but options are good.

After using Ethereal Soul-Trader, Lil' Tarecgosa, Darkmoon Rabbit and a random rare level 25 (Ash Lizard) as tanks I decided to go for the Emperor Crab...found a rare one rather quickly in a high-pop server, and have been using it as Ringer for a few hours and I must say I am VERY pleased with it...I highly suggest using that pet as a ringer, as Guadah has posted, it makes an amazing tank, ending up with full HP or near it after every battle.
Now mass leveling 96 pets ATM :D most are level 11-12 now.
      Also, I've gotten 1 Aquatic Battle-Stone, 2 Critter, 2 Beast and 2 Flawless Battle-Stones from leveling and I'm not even half-way done!
      I love these plugins.

Forgot to add a suggestion...I may be doing it wrong but I've noticed that swapping a pet out and in from a Battle-Pet slot will reset it's skills to default?
I'll use the Emperor Crab for example.
      His skills are S1A=Snap | S1B=Surge | S2A=Renewing Mists | S2B=Healing Wave | S3A=Shell Shield | S3B=Whirlpool.
If I changed his active skills to S1A, S2B and S3A and swapped him out and back into the Battle Pet Slots it would have reset back to S1A S2A and S3A.
What this means is I am limited to using a pet's default skills if I want to create PetSettings.
Is Battle Pet Swapper able to also change a given pet's active skills after swapping it to a Battle Pet Slot? A feature like that would be beast :D

The Clockwork Gnome is pretty strong also, but not nearly as strong as the Emperor Crab. If you are looking for another tank-like pet to use for the end Daily Quests, try out the Emerald Proto-Whelp. You'll have to use his Secondary Skills for #2 and #3, which just make him a BEAST. His primary 2 and 3 are nice, but he'll take a lot of damage.

You can get him from the Fire Drakes in Scholozar Basin.

Still working on getting it rare :D ...I've gone through 3 spawn batches so far and no rares :S ...I should get him soon enough before my pets start reaching level 19 hopefully (theyre @ 13+ now woot)...I'll try him out for sure...after all my pets are leveled I plan to go for the Tamer achievements :)

I just started out using this and WOW. Awesome. Thanks for this. Im only having a hard time to set a 80-90% swap on the low level pet. Can someone please give me some help? Totally new to botting.
      Cheers

      NVM. Figure it out.
Working great but sometimes it skips some pets of the pet range I set before start. Not a big issue tho.

      hi,

      thx for this plugin.

      in log it says:
[BPS] Pets by level: #6=3 #7=17

i understand this, that the plugin see 3 pets with level 6, or?

but i have much more blue-pets on level 6.

i set the plugin to use only blue-pets.

i am wrong or i make a misstake?

      thanks and greetings

      (sorry for my bad english)

this could be clearer, but you have to use Ringer x2 if you're power-levelling new pets, more than 10 levels lower than the current area.

for pets within 5-10 levels, ringer works fine. e.g. 15's vs 21-24's.
      for pets lower than 10 levels, ringer x2. e.g. 5's and 7's vs 21-24's.

if you want to include a 90% swapout, you have to know what it will do in pokeh. pokebuddy works on a rating system. every pet gets a rating based on the sliders on the first tab of the plugin GUI. just as combat starts, it puts the highest rated pet first. if you swap, it moves to the highest or second highest pet rating.

when you trigger a swap like this at 90%, PB looks at all the pets using the sliders to evaluate the pets by health percent, level difference, advantage and disadvantage.
your pet hasn't taken enough damage to be rated lower, so it will put the pet back into play, or it will put the 2nd low level into play if it rates higher now.

when both pets, are at say, 80% and 70% health, it will swap out again, to the highest rating pet.

which will also be a low level pet. because you didn't change the ratings used.

      Hey there,

I have been using this with some success this morning, this evening when I went to resume it I just get nothing but this.

[BB] 0Injured pets quite high: 3 Making sure its not due to lag
[BB] Atleast 1 pet injured, Healing/Rezzing pets
[BB] Heavily injured pets : 3

It doesn't swap out any pets, I have it configured properly with non restrictive settings and plenty of viable pets to swap.
