      Hello
I would like to start with saying that I've been botting for about 5 years now and the experience I got through this years helped me to get to the point where I am now. I would like to thank the whole community of honorbuddy forum because without some of you guys I wouldn't be able to make my dreams come true.

So I've set up those bots on Virtual Servers which costed me about 25$ per month for 1 server that can keep 4 bots.

      The investment:
      -Servers 1875$
-Accounts 9720$ (30$ each 5$ battlechest 25$ legion) - 24 accounts were banned in the first week because of flagged ip on some servers so I had to re-invest.
-Honorbuddy keys (Didn't bought any new keys I've 80 keys myself rest was borrowed from friends botters) Thank you guys for making this project possible.

The average gold one account made in one day - 121150 Gold
That gives 36mln gold per day.
      Botted 30 days straight
I've managed to sell 340mln of earned gold for 0.12$ to private buyers which gives 40800$
720mln gold had to be sold to chinese for 0.045$ which gives 32400$.

      Summary:
      73200$-11595$=61605$ made in one month.

Some of you may belive in this, some may not but the point of this thread is to keep all of you botters motivated because everyone can make it to this point and their dreams may become reality.

NOTE: I'm not answering any questions about my server provider/methods I used.

      Stay motivated!

you forgot the 6000$ cost for 300 keys.

i think in theory it is possible to do it but it is a big pile of money you need to invest and if you get unlucky and a banwave hits you lose also the 9720$ for accounts. also you need to supervise them which should be a time consuming matter. als you need to count in inflation and price drops of mats etc which will resault in less profits.

if you are able to risk 10-20k dollar you may be able to make money in long terms but it will be a full time job to keep up all 300 clients

If you had the resources to run 300 bots you wouldn't spend your time writing about it on a public forum, with nothing to verify your claims.

      Bullshit/10.

While I do not claim is it impossible, because there probably is some bot kingping doing exactly that, how could you ever whitewash so much gold.

Even if you give up taxes, an investigation of how you attained so much money in the spawn of a month will be launched as is required by law in most countries.

Besides, assuming you used Skrill/Moneybookers/Paypal etc etc for payments, they would have limited your account within a week afaik.

Unless you have dozens of account with different identities of course, this isn't your first rodeo and you don't actually withdraw the money to your bank account and use anonymous ATM cash withdrawals and such.

BUT then you wouldn't draw attention like this ;)

I do like the stats you posted tho, that is how I imagine a large scale operation to be runned. Quantity, not quality.

It was October right? Because 0.12 was average on demand price on October only. You forgot to note how much money you lost because two banwave on 11-th and 22-th of November. And yeah you need a lot of time to sell 340mln gold per month on demand. Besides you need time to start and manage 300 bots... It's amazing work if it's true ...

You cant do this alone. Selling gold is much more time consuming than managing X Bots...
And chinese are slower than normal customers :D even they are sometimes really slow...

This can be bfor first banwave, now banrate more higher, especially on current ban policy from blizz. Damn, I just imagined guildbanks with 340 mil gold disbanded by GM, omg.

That's a lot of bots. Good lord, I've had friends that used to run anywhere from 100-200 bots, AND IT WAS TAXING to an epic extent. Not only managing the bots, but to distribute and retrieve the money from different bank accounts in order to avoid taxes as much as possible. If what OP says is true, then he is rolling in dough!!!

      >doubt

you could pull this off if you manage it like a real time job, one part im interested in though is how tf he got servers for 6.25 dollars per bot.

also post proof of earnings or its BS.

      It is possible, even alone.

The most time consuming thing is to setup all those bots, if you are fast you need to invest ~10 minutes for each account to setup with relogger and start leveling. You have not so much downtime because when you download wow etc. you go to the next server / virtual machine etc. Then you need to handle the first 30 minutes questing until you arrive in Legion/Dalaran but this isnt that much time consuming. Afterwards you just load the Profile and setup the relogger that it sells everything in the auction house and put the Gold in guild Banks. So you have to invest about 60 hours / 1 week to get all those 300 bots running and afterwards you can lean back.

Even trading can be easily done by yourself, its a lot of work yes, but I was handling 60 bots and reselled 2 years ago in 2 month as much as 300 bots would have produced. I didnt asked bossland for a Discount but I heavily believe they would do it. I paid for a session of 200 accounts 500€ on Nemesis Bot which was really cheap but I guess even HB wouldnt have been so much more expensive for a huge amount of sessions (i could have easily paid 1500€ just from a few days of reselling gold)

Its really not a big deal if you have some money to invest and dont have a job or you're a student.

And how many people without a job, or how many students, can afford such an investment?

      No, it is not.

There are no properly working AH profiles at the moment. All trading has to be done manual.(Unless you wanna guinea pig with professionbuddy which can lead to extreme losses due to malfunctions)

Just the trading part of 300 would probably take more than 16 hours per day. And not including finding Private sellers or dealing with the middlemen.

The maintenance involved , for all the software and hardware involved, would also be a full-time job. We are talking 10 computers here, or more.

Handling 60 bots is doable, for someone with the skill and knowledge. Takes time, full dedication and strong will, but it is possible. But 300 is 5 times that amount... You would need at least 5 people for that.

And then bans every week. Complete wipeouts of your subnet. Start all over again.

      Wake up, folks.

I could barely say it better!

Babysitting the bots is full time job in the start, even for 50-60 bots.

Since the most profitable gold farming nowadays is herb-gathering & selling to AH or private mats buyers, we dont just collect gold from the bots every time and then. It requires time per each guildbank to cashout the gained herbs, other high-valua stuff like BOE epics and so on.

As someone mentioned eariler, sometimes its quite annoying and time consuming to deal with private/demand buyers. Even with chinese resellers its weird, if they demand for example to trade the gold in Ratchet or demand selling via the AH buyouts etc.
With gold flow of 20-30 million of gold per day, no need to mention, the gold needs to be sold in wholesales in less than 3 days per guildbank, or the banks would hit the goldcap.

All of us, which have been botting for living, is perfectly aware, that such tasks are not technically possible for single human, even if he is on his duties for 18 hours per day.

If this is a team, even small one, could do the job!

It is not about rushing and hitting 300 bots for a week or two, then failing hard on one of the many tasks on this process, but maintaining a consistency in the botting, with good optimization if not on all, but at least on the most of the processes(the steps) on such gold-farming business.

The above aspects do not cover a major part in the botting business - when the bans came, not only once, but those bans after a week, then after 3 days, or one day.
Then we need quite an extra time, required for covering from Blizzard in one or other way ...

Sorry you are completly wrong. I had 3 Computers running with 18-18-24 Virtual Machines + VPNs in each VM. All bots were running through naxx, mostly 14-30 days without ban. At this time it was common to buy sth like 100-300k, all bots were 24/7 afkable, even though if I needed to use the auction house I would have had a bot doing this (even Nemesis bot was good at this, I didnt use Buddy because I made myself a RAF Profile to Level with dungeons 1x90,4x leveling with raf which was pretty afkable).

With Teamviewer I could easily sell the Gold from everywhere, my day looked like 12-18 University, 18-19 gym 19-02 work (only when I had bans) -> sleep etc. The work itself wasnt that much once all bots were running, I had a lot of free time and I was out in pubs and clubs like every 3rd day because I could easily trade the Gold from everywhere. And its not da difference if you sell sth like 1-2 Million each day to 5-10 customers or nowadays 5-10 Million day to 5-10 customers. Even though this guy sold most of his Gold to chinese and this has the advantage that he can sell sth like 5 Million in 1 trade.

My time working at this time was sth. about 2-3 hours each day if you count all the work together in a month and split into 30 days.

Huge difference in botting dungeons/raids and gathering though.

3 computers running 18 18 and 24 VMs + VpNs. Those machines would need to be true beasts to be able to run that, each one worth more than 1000 €. So, you put 3 professional & dedicated machines to that.

Then , VpNs. If you used private VpNs, cost is very big to be considered. Maybe you did it in a time where they put no effort in detections; using public VpN nowadays will get you banned faster than spamming Gold Selling in Orgrimmar AH.

The maintenance of it would also be time consuming. VM's are added hassle and problems for your comps. 60 VMs? you would have 3-6 ( in average) malfunctioning daily.

If your numbers, even logically exaggerated, are remotely true, why didn't you expand? Or even consider dedicating to it full time? Or creating a business on it?

Nah man, you are looking at it through rose-tinted glasses. Which is logical, since you probably devote a lot of time and effort to get to a point where you can make it on your own.

There must be a reason you stopped...why did you if everything was so good?
