Creating additional tiers of subsections to the HB forums would help development.

Massively large and unorganized threads for popular bots like DungeonBuddy are inefficient. A DungeonBuddy subsection of the forums would allow people to easily read and post solutions to common issues. The search feature is limited and returns scattered results.

I greatly admire the environment / community built around the idea of customizing bots but I feel like the communication could be so much clearer and organized.

DB got its one thread, what is needed here is people to use it instead of posting about DB issue here and there

so the problem is not a new subsection

Hi Tony, the DB thread is too long and it covers a wide range of issues, information and tips related to DB in it. When I have some issue related to DB, it is very likely that someone else has already had the same issue and the solution for that issue is already available given in that thread, but since the thread is too long it is impossible to browse through the entire thread to find the information I need. If there are several smaller threads inside a DB sub-forum it would be much easier to use the search function and find the information we actually need, rather than going through the entire huge thread. So, if it's not too much of an hassle, a sub forum for DB will be great, like the OP suggested.

what makes you think that people are not reading a long thread but they will read a long section? :)

I find that the most effective way to search for information in this site is by using Google with the following search command "site:thebuddyforum.com". But when I use it to search for information related to DB, it returns the single long DB thread which is not really helpful because you have to read 1000's of pages to locate the information you actually need. Now, I also get search results to several specific threads where users have asked the exact same question I have in mind too, but the replies to all of those threads is "Please post this in the DB thread" :D

I know there are a lot more pressing issues at hand which need priority but in future whenever you have some time, if it's possible to create a sub forum for DB, I'm sure it will be extremely helpful to users.

Searching through a long thread for people with common issues is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

A cascaded list of threads not only helps the developer by organizing bugs. It helps the users by allowing them to simply glance over a list of thread subjects.

Tony, as a programmer can't you see that this is a better approach?
