Quest on VotfW where you have to give water to the plants.

I have updated kicks svn and stuff, which are the newest now the shipped, the ones that are updated?
Update of last revision 557 was the worst i have ever seen in my life. YOu will have months later people with problems because normally a autoupdater can delete files by itself. nobody knows now what is outdated and what not atm. install from scratch doesnt even work well.

Just make an autoupdate that works and you save 100 posts per day becuase of this bad update process. omg i cant believe i tell this a gmbh with real employees. so many customers frustrated about this.

The 'auto updater' problem is not nearly as simple as you seem to think. You can find more information here as to why the auto-updater isn't 'smarter':

A 'clean install' clears up 90%+ of user problems most of the time. Many users carry completely broken plugins, bots, combat routines, etc. forward from release-to-release. Half the time these things won't compile. The other half of the time, they lead to wicked nasty problems like cache corruption, exceptions, and other things. People just keep taking this broken stuff forward into the next HB release until they finally get bit.

A 'clean install' is not that big of an inconvenience. If it is, you're doing something horribly wrong, and that's probably why your bot is broken to begin with.

Thread closed--there doesn't appear to be any issue here, only grousing.
