As topic title says, is it considered SAEF to bot acc 1 in background while playing your main account? Old time glider, just got gb lifetime. Oh and please no rage if this question is stupid
This is a hard one, I myself prefer to do this but then run the bot in vmware. This will make sure they have different hardware id's and they will never ban based on IP so this is almost a 100% safe
Vmware is a virtual windows so install windows, install vmware tools, install GB, copy wow and your done This will require an pretty good pc, and be sure to settings ultra low in the wow in vmware
Do you reckon AMD x2 3.3ghz, 4gig of ram would run it without the bot stuttering and looking retarded? :>
Hmmm It will be at the limit but if you don't run your real wow on to high a detail you should be fine
I dont mind playing on low on both bot and me, just want to farm JP while my other acc gets the gold Thanks again for the help. Just gonna try it and see how it runs
Your botting on both? then you you might as well forget the whole vmware I don't bot on my main account, I don't want to lose my 9k achievement points 6 lvl 80's and a ton of gold. Thats why i have the whole extra security
IMO run both as bots, but just monitor both, best of both worlds. But I do most of my botting on a separate PC, partly cause im paranoid, and partly cause its a bit cheaper to keep running 24/7 than my monster gaming rig.
No, i run heroics manually on my shaman. Its a known char on my server, 10k+ achievs and shit so not instance botting it.
What about MAC ADDRESS though. Wouldn't that still be the same. I know that 99% of forums and games when they do bans. They ban your mac address. I know I change mine like 5 times a day.. lol
This topic has been asked and asked, the search function would have found you over 10 threads talking about it. its safe as long as your main acct doesn't come into contact with goldselling
No the mac address is different for the computer/client. The hardware that connects you to the internet is the same but sins that could be a router blizzard will not look at this Edit I reread your post and no forums don't ban mac's they ban ip's but sins when you change your mac you get a new IP and you are unbanned (only cases where the doesn't provider work whit static ip's)
Meh, i'd still bot it, but not afk. helps to have multiple monitors though. I just know that shamwow is a great CC and I'm leveling lots of shaman now
This is a neat trick for lowering the CPU usage of WoW a lot: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...w-reduce-cpu-usage-greatly-while-botting.html
if HB is found then i guess they would ban all running clients on that computer. If they get a report the will prob shadow you and ban that account (although am not a 100% sure) and it prob depends on the GM
You don't get a new ip for changing your mac address. The mac address is the hardware id of your ethernet card. Your ip remains the same. I have comcast there is no way to get a new ip. Some games I need to change my hard drive id and mac address to get unbanned some I do only mac address. They do PC bans, like it will say this pc is banned indefinitaly. new mac address and I create a new account, bot on and transfer cash to main account. MAC addresses are most often assigned by the manufacturer of a network interface card (NIC) and are stored in its hardware, the card's read-only memory, or some other firmware mechanism. If assigned by the manufacturer, a MAC address usually encodes the manufacturer's registered identification number. It may also be known as an Ethernet hardware address (EHA), hardware address, adapter address, or physical address.
