Everytime I use the setup for .711 I get this

      Setup Failed

One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then retry the setup. For more information see the log file.

I can open and extract the zip just fine. Your computer is indeed fucked up.

That's sort of irrelevant to the matter :p

My point was that he told us in #1 that he did try the zip already, but that didn't work either (I know I failed to see that first too, but it's something I didn't expect a mod to miss)
So telling him to use the zip didn't really resolve anything.

If it's really a bug with the installer, then the proper response would be to tell him that the installer is in fact bugged at the moment and he should use the zip download instead, once he has resolved the issue that causes his PC to not be able to open/read the .zip file ;)

we need a log from honorbuddy, since hes only giving us the log from the installer when we already said to use the zip.

AND he said his machine is messed up. so please stop bumping support threads.

Sigh. Stop being such a hypocrite.
If anyone was "bumping" this thread, it was Tony and you just now. The answer "use the zip" was given two times already.
Sure he said his computer was messed up. Who helped him come to that conclusion? Me.

Show some respect to the people that actually try to help, and replies with constructive comments and are trying to get to the bottom of the issue at hand. Why would posting the HB log help when the error lies within the installer? makes no sense. I dont even think a HB log is generated when running the installer.
